From what I understand.. SN - Same old thing. NN - moving forwards. South Node can make us stuck in the past and unable to move on, so yeah for me I like NN better. Fresh starts are always welcomed. quote: The South Node can be a point of undoing unless we develop the North Node experiences and qualities. Thus, consciously working on these "life lessons" can bring us to increased happiness and fulfillment.

Hi Cappy!I had SN trine my ex Saturn. I felt good, but I didn't move anywhere while I was with him. He restricted me a lot. I think NN is better... the same old story... IP: Logged |

I agree... I'm having a hard time to forget about him. I hope to find someone to have a real relationship, no toxic one full of illusions. IP: Logged |

I'm sorry to read that. What do you think about trines and conjunctions with benefics like Moon, Venus and Jupiter?------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

Hum, I guess they are easier to deal. I have Venus trine with SN with a friend. We were almost all-laughing, always in a good mood together, but destiny called him and he moved to another city. Jupiter I have with my friend who introduced me to my actual religion. Maybe this person can bring you to another philosophal thought. Trines are lighter, but with planets such Saturn or Mars, I can bet almost one conjunction... =( IP: Logged |

So you think a Saturn trine to your NN would feel totally different, better or are you not interested either? ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

I see each planet in 2 ways: Saturn can be restrictive or can make you deal with more responsability in the area it touches. With NN, in a synastry, I see as a responsability to grow, to move forward. some people can call responsability as restrictive, but I don't face this like that. I see as a teacher, so yes, interested in your progress as any great mentor . IP: Logged |

"Change in latitude is significant: increase in North latitude is an accidental dignity. South latitude correspondingly diminishes it." (Frawley, the real astrology applied, p52).SN is always south. Also from Kevin Burk, http://www.dailyom.com/library/000/000/000000058.html quote: The Moon's nodes are probably the most misunderstood points in astrology. Although few astrologers would dispute their importance in the chart, equally few astrologers could offer a modern, supportive interpretation of the nodes, what they represent, and why. Traditional astrology takes a rather consistent view of the nodes. The North Node (Caput Draconis, which means the "Dragon's Head") was given a similar quality to the traditional interpretations of Venus and Jupiter, and was associated with all of the good things that we could possibly experience in our lifetime, including success, advancement, increase, and personal fulfillment. The South Node (Cauda Draconis, which means the "Dragon's Tail") was of the same nature as Mars and Saturn, and was associated with huge heaping amounts of what one would expect to come out of the tail end of a dragon. The traditional interpretations of the Moon's nodes pretty much boil down to "North Node good; South Node bad."
Keeping modern astrology politically correct. IP: Logged |
