I'm looking into geting some books for Astrology so i don't spend so damn long on the laptop. Haha, does anyone know some well written/informative/good for guidance etc? A Cosmic Science - The work of spiritual astrology - Isabel M. Hickey is one that caught my interest Cheers IP: Logged |

I don't know that one. What type do you prefer? I really love "The Astrologer's Handbook." It may be too esoteric for some, but I love it. Of course, the Linda Goodman ones are GREAT for basic Sun sign stuff. Here is a link to check out the Sakoian/Acker book: http://en.bookos.org/g/Frances%20Sakoian They do one on Transits that is Very informative as well. It's called "Predictive Astrology." It has so much in such a small area, Singletons, Anaretic degree, Retrograde Planets, Cutting, Scout; just all types of good basic information and instruction. IP: Logged |

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Astrology-Cosmic-Science-Classic-Spiritual/dp/0916360636 ^ It's supposed to be the most recommended for aspects, planet positions & learning to work your chart to yourself for self-progression & spirituality..I was looking for anything really that goes fairly indepth and has good guidance for using the chart in the work of self and understanding the natal chart & its aspects IP: Logged |
