I realize it goes both ways, but if you had to simplify it... Who is more obsessed, Venus or Pluto??

In your experience of course

Honestly?

Venus-Pluto would not be the first thing I`d check.
Too generational on its own, though under certain circumstances it can get very strong.

But it doesn`t make people fall in love; you will need to have more individual aspects for that.

I have an 8th House Leo Venus. Every guy I've wanted that put his Pluto in a square to it were more obssessed with me than me with them - but that didn't nullify my own obssession. While I was obssessed with their feelings (if they liked me, how they saw me, if they were only fooling around, etc), their obssession were with my actions (who I talked to, what I was doing, why I didn't do whatever, etc).

I know Venus-Pluto connection is hot, but it's too tiresome and intense for all parties involved. I'm a Virgo Sun, so I don't dig the kind of drama my Leo Venus attracts.

it depends on the house placements. normally i'd say pluto, but i was just recently a venus conj. pluto and was obsessed with him becuz my venus touched his ASC/pluto conjunction in the 1st. and i have a pluto-mars-sun conjunction. i think it's who has the natal placements to activate the obsession more :-)

Yeah I asked when his birthday is and explained I'm into astrology... and his response was that he's "barely a Libra". lol so I don't know the exact day or time but going off of that I know his Sun and Venus are trine my Venus and sextile my Moon, and we have Sun trine Mars DW. There are other nice aspects but my Venus squares his Pluto exact so that just stood out to me I guess...

Anyway this conversation happened over texting so I didn't want to seem weird asking him too many questions about his birthday lol but we're going on a date this week so I will try to find out the actual day/time since obviously knowing the moon sign and houses and all that can make a big difference

Very interesting about being obsessed with someone's feelings vs. actions! I agree the Pluto/8th house intensity can be a little too overwhelming for me as well. But I have Pluto in my 5th house so I suppose it's something I should just learn to accept lol

If it makes or breaks you, how can you call it overrated?

Too annoying, especially for a venus in aqua, just lead to arguments it felt like he was invading my privacy and personal space.

a super chemistry in a "just met" situation makes me think uranus with venus/mars or mars with venus/sun or vertex opposite/conjunct sun

When you want a birth time, just say, 'oh, I'd love to wish you a happy birthday, but I'm big on it being EXACT. Not a minute before.'

Oddly enough, this works.

Iexperienced Venus-Pluto DW recently. Well, there are other aspects but I have to say V/P DW was the central theme. Sexual tension is over the roof,at least from my part, but it should've been mutual.

It's good for romance, but V/P doesn't really promise stability. Have to look for other signs for that. But, overall, it was magical and life-changing for me.

Its over rated because people tend to see it as a soulmate aspect or think its enough to bind people for life. Its not.

Pluto is one of Venus' natural pairs, the other being Mars, so it's pretty strong in synastry!

But like any synastry, it depends on what your natal chart is like! If you have strong Venus or Pluto energy, it'll be more attractive and enjoyable to you than if, say, you were Mercurial or Jovian, etc.

Generally, the Pluto is the obsessive one, but it definitely does go both ways and can change depending on other factors!!

I have my pluto opposing this guy's venus and he has this aspect natally too

My pluto is conjunct my asc and venus

What will this say about us? Oh and his lilith is conjunct my venus

My pluto also opposes his mars and he has this natally too

His pluto squares my mars

We don't have venus/mars aspects but my venus trines his venus/sun, and his venus squares my uranus by 1 degree... Sooooo I wonder how that would play out with both uranus and pluto squares to venus?? In our natals my pluto is much more aspected than his, and his uranus is more aspected than mine is

Anyway, we also have some nice mars aspects (mars widely trine mars, his mars trine my sun/saturn/NN and sextile my pluto, my mars trine his sun...) It's started out with strong attraction but I think we both feel the intensity and are hesitant to really go for it I guess

Lol thanks for your response that's a good technique, I'll definitely have to try it next time!
