Topic: Strong Capricorn & Scorpio in personals

I was reading up on this a while ago, i have a Capricorn Moon & Scorpio/Pluto rising. I saw someone said that it can cause deep-rooted psychological problems, i didn't know what this means and i never got the chance to inquire about it. I think he was referring to the fact that these are both the signs that like being in control and will give a tendency to want to control anything, at a guess..Both having a Survival of the fittest mindset. Whats your opinion on this? Have you heard anything like it?
Do you have these as a strong influence? I'd say having the Capricorn Moon with Scorpio/Pluto Rising (Sun 1st) has a "Wolf" effect.  ------------------

I love these people. They're very loyal and graceful. They are observant, and other than Sagittarius are pretty much the only people who can put me in my place in an argument or debate, which I respect, and for me respect equals swooning! In my opinion they don't trust easily and definitely feel lonely a lot of the time or like a social outcast although people are drawn to them. They find it hard to be comfortable in their own skin. Experience is from knowing countless Capricorn/Scorpio ruled people. Specifically my best friend of seven years has Scorpio rising, Sun, and Capricorn Moon. Another friend had Capricorn Sun, Scorpio rising, Last guy I liked I'm pretty sure had Scorpio rising and a Capricorn Moon. The guy before that was a Capricorn Sun with Scorpio Moon and Venus. ETC. I love it, my personal favorite combination within the zodiacI agree with all of what you said apart from graceful ... i wouldn't say that's really a word for Capricorn/Scorpio? Correct me if i'm wrong .. They are difficult placements to have though for the benefits they do bring .. ------------------

hi plutofish... i have the same combo as you cap moon/scorp rising .. no psychological issues for me. control is important to me (but over myself and my own emotions, not controlling others). i haven't found too many negatives with this placement, just a lifelong 'you're hard to approach/hard to figure out.' people can't read you the same way you can read them, and that seems to annoy peopleIP: Logged |

Don't think i've heard about it before, but it sure sounds interesting.According to astrotheme i'm a Saturn and Pluto dominant. lots of capricorn and sun, venus, pallas and NN in the 8th house. Sometimes I feel like it's hard to combine all the cap energy with my pisces.. IP: Logged |

Yeh that is the same for me, one of my objectives is always self-disciple,though with Pluto on the ascendant i do tend to start getting a bit controlling with others aswell ... but i stop myself as i don't agree with it, haha I know what you mean with the being hard to read haha.
I'm very introspective and hard on myself with the Capricorn Moon though and go in on myself alot of the time, i don't know if that would be the Neptune conjunction though.. IP: Logged |

I m a woman and I have cappy sun/mercury and scorpio moon/venus/mars/jupiter. Sigh... now my tr Uranus opposes natal Uranus and I feel for the first time in my life relaxed and I start to enjoy being myself. I have been too rigid/stiff/fearful/controlling/paranoid all my life. Also lonely and felt completely worthless/ugly etc even tough there is no apparent reason to feel like that. I have not had fulfilling relationships either, but I have wonderful children and a great job.
Its all getting better now after 40. I am very loyal and I like to help people. Also many people turn to me with their problems. I can read people quite well, but I think the opposite is not true... I hide my emotions. Im too intense and get obsessed easily. I need Gemini/Aries/Aqua influenced people around me, they cheer me up. All my family and best friends are gemini-aries-aqua influenced. Quincunx signs to my scorpio/cappy curse . And of course Pisces and Cancer feed me emotionally.IP: Logged |

I think they're graceful… I mean socially graceful. They will never fly off the handle unless you're a lover, which I always admired 'cause then they never have to go back and apologize for things they said. When they say something, you know they mean it. It's different energy from my Aries / Gemini (jjj!) self 'cause I blurt out exactly what I'm thinking at the moment, thinking I understand myself and that that's my core truth… and it always turns out I feel differently when I'm more detached. They can control this about themselves though. They ARE controlling people though (apologies for not addressing that earlier - the point of your thread, lol) and they have the memory of elephants. I also find they're "collectors" of zodiac combinations. They will remember every nice and mean thing you've said to them, save everything that's meaningful. Although it's difficult for them to admit (since it goes into all that touchy-feely goo they hate… but have a lot of) they're sentimental / emotional beings. Very deep emotions. I think they're so attractive to me emotionally and physically because Capricorn rules my 8th house, I have a lot of Saturn contacts (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus) and Pluto is a singleton in my 5th along with Vertex and both in Scorpio (Moon opp. Pluto too). PLUS I have an Aries stellium and Mars conj. ASC, and Scorpio co-rules Mars with Aries (traditionally speaking.) IP: Logged |

I find this thread fascinating! My soulmate is a cap sun, Scorpio rising...and these descriptions fit him well I find. Please add more!I love (am strongly attracted to) these placements, as well, as cap rules my 7th and 8th houses and I have a lot of Natal Saturn and Pluto placements. According to astro, I think Scorpio is like my second most dominant sign natally. My dad, sis and BF are all Cappy suns as well and I just adore them all!!! IP: Logged |
