Per se, what in a natal chart would make someone a feminist? I'm just curious. IP: Logged |

Hah, thats like me - also moon square uranus, moon square saturn (but its a wide orb) and moon opposition mars Also my sun conjunction mars gives me some masculine energy somehow^^ But its mostly in mutable signs, so it's in a very quiet way One of my friends are feminist too with taurus moon! There are different kinds of feminists and different reasons for becoming one. Some are healthy and some are not and plenty of feminist philosophies are as incompatible with one another as different denominations of a religion are. Overall I don't think you can say "what makes a feminist" but you could see reasons in why a specific individual became the specific type of feminist she--or he--is. And btw, I expect many who are feminists today would not be feminists back in the 60s and vice versa (and their charts would probably say why).IP: Logged |

Yep.Interesting about the Moon Square Uranus, as I do have it, but I think my Lilith-Pallas conj. in Pisces/10th opposite my Moon also plays a big part in that too (I esp. love what Pallas stands for, that is def. me...), as well as my Scorpio Mars and Saturn (both sextile Moon)... And I would say I'm of the strong independent type, not one of the man hating fanatics that have given feminism a bad rep... More about human rights/equality period. IP: Logged |

With afflicted moon, I was targeted/abused for my femininity. So I'm somewhat a feminist coz I want mutual respect and independence. IP: Logged |

As far as I know real feminism is about gender equality. I guess I qualify. Maybe it's my Uranus, Aqua and Libra.------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

I would check out their Lilith sign, aspects and house placement and I would check out Uranus as well, maybe even vesta. Specially lilith aspects to venus and mars, uranus aspects to venus and mars and vesta aspects to venus and mars. Also chiron aspects to venus and mars. All these things point out to gender issues or views. IP: Logged |

I can definitely see that I'm a Libra Moon with Saturn in Aquarius. I have a SUN-MARS-VENUS-MERCURY conjunction/Stellium in SAGITTARIUS plus a mutable MC in GEMINI and an ASC in VIRGO.

I have Moon semi-sextile Uranus, and I'm quite the feminist myself . I think since Moon represents women, and Uranus represents rebellion and changing the old, it would naturally point to feminism. IP: Logged |

I didn't know being a feminist is a "special snowflake" aspect. All women should be fighting for equal rights and a decent life. I'd like to think you're asking what makes one a firm advocate for equality and basic human rights. IP: Logged |
