So lets go back to basics and start off simple.

1.(state your element) Have you experienced this? How was the energy flow for you? Did you find that this aspect had little to no ego clashes? Did you find an easy flowing mental rapport?

2.What did you find were the similarities in the ways you expressed yourselves?

3. If there was an attraction, what was it like? Did you feel there was good physical chemistry?

Yes there is attraction, Venus conjunct Mars .

1. Yeah I have experience this. The energy flow was ok. Lots of differences in opinions.

2. Sort of. I connect better with the chill and relax ones.

3. No romantic attraction. Either good or lukewarm friendships.

4. I don’t know... I mean, the energy flow is too subtle for me to even notice. Pretty neutral.

I think it gets ignored because people sometimes expect to have an extra positive relationship with those who have their Sun Signs in the same element. They later get disappointed if that doesn't happen - and call astrology bs..
But it's not just about elemental compatibility.
IMO It has to be a trine within a 5 deg orb to be felt strongly as a trine.

I'm an Aries and I've experienced it with several people, both Leo and Sagittarius. The energy flow is generally fun/happy and we are on the same wavelength.
We do sort of have ego clashes, but they are not serious..It seems like we are joking around about having ego clashes.. rather than having an actual clash.

The mental rapport depends on Mercury. My Mercury is water so I have a better mental rapport with other water Mercs. Leos with Cancer Mercury and Sags with Scorpio Mercury seem more so on my wavelength.

2.What did you find were the similarities in the ways you expressed yourselves?

Honesty is the biggest similarity. They are more likely to be forward and put their cards on the table. We don't lie to each other much... not about serious things anyway.
In the rare situations when they had other afflictions in their natal chart and did lie.. I still felt like I could see right through that.
I feel like we are very clear on *who* we are.. and there aren't many misunderstandings.

3. If their was an attraction, what was it like? Did you feel their was good physical chemistry?

Usually there is an attraction immediately - if the trine is exact. Because fire signs are pretty sexually -out there- , they don't hold back.
So the initial stages can be all butterflies in the stomach and "OMG!!! How exciting to have met this person!!"
It definitely feels very hyper.. like we're both hyped around each other - and we make each other (and others) giggle a LOT.

I wouldn't say it lasts though ... It depends, but usually the initial excitement dies down and we end up being friends.

4.If you had to list some pros and cons of this trine what would they be?

With Leo -

pros: they are very protective so they make me feel safe, like nothing could harm me when they are around (both male and female Leos), they are very trustworthy and I don't need to say much for them to know what I'm thinking - what would make me happy .. etc., they are also passionate people so it feels good to be able to express myself and be just as passionate and be loved for that!

cons: hmmm probably that they get too serious sometimes.. I am more lighthearted than they are; their seriousness can rain on my parade occasionally - but it's not a biggie lol

With Sagittarius -

pros: physically it feels good to be around them - because we energise each other, they can be very direct/forward which I like, they also usually like the way I express myself - things seldom go unsaid between us, so if there is a problem we usually bring it up, or argue... but either way - it gets discussed, rather than brushed under the carpet, they are usually on my side on the things the really matter to me and they can be very encouraging!
