Topic: Who is most outgoing? Cancer or Virgo?

I just wondered… my ascendant is cancer but my sun is virgo… just wondering if I'm most outgoing at first, until my virgo shines through, or of it's the completely opposite? Or if I'm just equally not-outgoing :PIP: Logged |

Virgos can be pretty outgoing and very people-oriented. Cancers I know are generally kind of awkward and more withdrawn, definitely.IP: Logged |

Cancer is more outgoing when taken by itself. It's a cardinal, water sign so it is more apt to get out and do things which would put them in contact with others frequently. Virgo is only mutable and earth, so they would be more introverted. This doesn't take into account personal planets or moon in the chart of someone with a Cancer or Virgo sun which can make all the difference. A Virgo sun with many planets in Virgo or some in other less outgoing signs and houses is going to be more introverted than a Virgo with sixth, eighth or twelfth house planets in signs like Leo or Libra. Same with Cancer suns and Gemini or Leo. IP: Logged |

Good answer! Would you say that the 4th house is a more outgoing house then? Than 12th, 6th and 8th

Yes, because it is an angular house. It's natural ruler is the cardinal sign Cancer. Energies from a planet, sun, moon, placed here will have less trouble with expression while 6th, 8th and 12th, it will be kinda warped, especially in 12th. 6th will just make a servant out of it and since that is not appealing to most people, the house is considered weaker. The tenth is the house of the midheaven, it's supposed to be the most visible of them all. It's like going out and being in a crowded room. You are surrounded by people who can see you but you might have to do something to get noticed. IP: Logged |

where are you from next to neptune? what is your ethnicity? ive said before that i know two other girls with virgo sun and pisces moon combo which is my favorite next to my own cap sun and lobster moon.i like full mooners. one of the girl is very intelligent and an ex muay thai champion and shes very social and helpful towards people. shes 20years and has a lobster mars. the other girl was very easily influenced in a bad way and had negative experiences because of that growing up during her youth but is doing well now. shes 25years and has aries mars. they both have virgo mercury. both are very sweet and kind so i suggest you shouldnt worry when people dont like you, its common that there is some haters and lovers along the way. just choose your company wisely, especially in your private life. I might go with Virgo on this one. Both are yin signs so that's a wash, and while Cancer is an action oriented cardinal sign, Virgo's mutability makes it more adaptable to different circumstances and people.When I look at my real life examples, Cancers can be very social, but in a 'circle the wagons' sort of way. You have to be in their 'in crowd'. Some I know are downright asocial. Virgos are shy, but usually only at first...there are some who just can't stop talking. Two of the most party throwing people I've known are Virgos...large parties at that. Personally (Virgo ASC, Virgo Sun, Cancer Moon) I'd peg my shyness on the Virgo, but again, once the ice is broken I can't shut up. And I'd say my ability to throw up inpenetrable walls is the Cancer. I have a virgo sun and cancer asc too.I think cancer is the less outgoing of the 2. For me I start out super shy but after a while I just keep talking and can be really outgoing. Then again I think gemini moon and libra venus might be saving my ass there.  IP: Logged |

I'm from Europe, probably the other side on earth than many in here:P But thank you for your nice answer! Do you know their venus sign? My venus is scorpio, and I have scorpio pluto trine my ascendant as well, maybe that is why I can get strong feelings out of others? Venus conjunct pluto as well IP: Logged |

Yes that is probably all your air influence, which makes you really outgoing when you start to relax:P I also see cancer ascendant as the most frightened ascendant of all… we can be really scared actually of going out, but once we start to relax it's a whole other story?

My best friend is a Cancer riser (and all of his personal planets are Virgo & Pisces). I guessed his Asc. It wasn't hard when he's tied to his mother and grandmother's apron strings, lives in his family's past, and when he spends almost all of his free time at home shopping online for stuff for his home. im also in europe, where are you? im in west, and you?the 20year old has venus in leo with no aspect to leo. the 25year old has venus in lobster with a 9degree trine to pluto and pluto trine moon also 9degree. all her planets aspects pluto except with jupiter, but all so called soft aspect, three are semisquares. i dont know their asc.

I'm from the northern europe  My venus is also in 5th house, I think it makes me more outgoing and leo-like, cause I love the spotlight in general:P IP: Logged |

My mum is a Cancer and hates anything to do with partying or social occassions. She just wants to stay in and do homemaker things.I'm a virgo and I like staying in too but I also really enjoy going out from time to time. Virgo's can be great fun in social settings. You won't be much outgoing at first, a Cancer ASC needs to feel emotionally secure to come out of the shell. After you feel secure, your Virgo Sun may shine. It also depends upon the house that your Sun is situated in. IP: Logged |
