I've suffered a lot in the love area. I'm starting to wonder if someone with this aspect, have finally found happiness in the love area.

I have both my Moon and Venus challenged by Saturn. and so far it's been bad, disappointing and frustrating.

Any experiences or thoughts?

Well with saturn it's really your own doing, saturn makes you cautious.
Maybe you were too scared to reciprocate your feelings back?

No you are not doomed. I have the exact same thing and have been married for 29 years. I also have a nice home, wonderful children, a good career and a group of close friends.
My saturn is completely afflicted.... Only hard aspects (to mercury, venus, moon, neptune, mars and uranus)

Thanks for sharing this, Taineberry.

Do you mind telling us how you overcame or worked with the challenging aspects to your moon and Venus? Thank you so much.

Not doomed. My venus conjunct Saturn, moon square Saturn. It took a while to find the right person.

Good luck =)

With Saturn, the natives may find it hard to "let go" and move towards new and (possibly) better things. To me, the lesson was learning how to let go and to accept.

No. You are late bloomer. Love will come for you later in life. Usually after Saturn return (29 years)

Sure. First and foremost I try not to take myself too seriously, and maintain a good sense of humour about my inner critic who never shuts up. Saturn is the little demon who sits on your shoulder and tells you that people are going to reject you because you are not a perfect mix of superwoman/einstein/supermodel/miss popularity/sex goddess.

The truth is that everyone gets rejected at some point for not meeting someone else's expectations, but when saturn is involved we tend to get flooded with subconcious memories of pain from the past which "proves" that we are worthless and tells us that because of this the future will be the same. No-one will ever want us or love us.... Future rejection is a certainty.

And so...we get caught up in our drama, our perceived limitations. This is really where the trick lies. At some point you have to ask yourself "am I really the story of my life, or am I the being who is experiencing that story?" As your perception shifts, your crippling fear of rejection starts to shift too. You can "see" how rejection by others and your inability to be perfect impacts on your life story, but it is not YOU. This is liberating. It frees you from the seriousness, the life and death suffering that you attach to every painful encounter which is inevitably accompanied by dredged up past emotion. You see it for what it is...and then you can let it go. Saturn loses its power when you stop identifying with your limitations and you realise that "reality" is just a story you are experiencing. Saturn needs you to hang on to your story, and to hang on to your fear (of rejection). When you don't hang on any more, rejection can't hurt you anymore because your sense of self worth is not invested in your limitations. Then you can love and rejection does not matter, as you see it from a different perspective. Inevitably, at this point, you will find yourself receiving as well as giving...it is a flow and has no expectations. Its ok if it gets taken away, its also ok if it lasts.

My Saturn squares my Venus, Sun, and Moon. Never fear! Though my love life is far from perfect, I have still found love. I blame Mars in my seventh house for any relationship troubles... I can't help but challenge myself. Do you have any planets in your seventh house or aspecting your seventh house ruler?

Well, I can't speak to Moon-Saturn in hard aspect but I don't think Venus-Saturn ruins your love life at all. My mom has her 4th H Venus square her 7th H Saturn and she's been married to my dad for more than 30 years. She didn't get married until after her Saturn Return though. I have the same square right down to house placement and I've already been in a serious LTR relationship even though I'm only in my late 20s. It didn't end badly, we just had compatibility issues. Although I will say I've always known I wouldn't get married until after I turned 30. Anyway, I think Venus-Saturn is a way bigger deal before your Saturn Return than it is after it.

Hi Diabla,

as I said above my love life is something like yours, I'm a late boomer like Rosalind said. But I chose be this way because I knew I wasn't emotional mature enough, so I didn't wanted mess with some guys' life...I had to let them go because I felt more like a girl not like a woman they needed for a serious relationship. Now I'm passing by the Saturn Return and feeling more secure about relationship matters. Don't worry

That was really amazing read.

I wonder, were you going through a Neptunian or Uranian transit of some sort when you came to this realization?

I definitely enjoy being single. And just keeping things light. But it would be nice to someday FINALLY the "right" one- and feel it is a HEALTHY relationship.
haven't found that yet. it always starts great, ends bad.

i have moon square venus. venus square staurn and saturn opp moon.
plus a scorpio mars doesnt help I like the bad plutos. :P

Thanks Belage / Hannaramma

@Belage :I was having a Neptune square Natal Neptune transit at the time when I finally got to understand this. Also transiting Neptune trine Sun, sextile Jupiter, square Moon,Merc, Venus and conjunct Saturn.
Natally Neptune is at the apex of an exact yod with Jupiter and sun at the base.

Transiting Uranus was square natal sun, trine moon/neptune, quintile venus/merc, opposite uranus/mars/pluto.
