Topic: How many of you really notice the effects of ascendant conjunctions?

I have three planets on my ascendant, have always had no problem getting noticed by others, to the point I long to slip under the radar. I wonder how many of you have this phenomena in your lives and you have planets on your ascendant? Share your experience with your rising planets and getting noticed. IP: Logged |

Nah, I slither in the shades - master of stealth  sun-Neptune oh yeah. I have venus and Saturn on the ascendant. Neptune too but orb is wide. IP: Logged |

well i actually don't have this phenomena in my life no planets either conjuncting my asc, or in my first house, since i'm assuming asteroids don't count however, i have the exact opposite: I don't get noticed very easily. i've been told that i'm difficult to keep track of, and have a soft presence. I am wondering if something has happened that has resulted in everyone noticing you, something in public that might have been an accident or something unintended? When you go out, do people notice you for some reason? Do things happen out of the blue that gets other's attention? I'll give you an example of something that happened to me once, although it's a bit embarrassing. I was leaving the restroom when I was in college and was in this computer lab. The lab's attendant told me the back of my skirt was caught in my underwear and I was very embarrassed and surprised. I corrected it as quickly as I could but I am sure others besides him saw it. Stuff like this happens off and on. Unwarranted attention, lol. It used to really bother me, now whenever something like this happens I just brush it off and forget about it, hope no one is video taping with their phone. IP: Logged |

I have 4 planets on my ascendant, 3 of them being pretty hard aspects. I have first house venus and like you SSS wish I could slip under the radar. It gets annoying sometimes. I'm used to being stared at and judged automatically just because that's what people have done my whole life. No matter where I go I'm always being stared at and made to feel like I'm the only person in a room crowded wih people. :/ IP: Logged |

Only Pluto. I suspect that there is a lot that I don't see.
I've noticed that most won't make eye contact.
Except this one woman at work who I'm interested in (but wouldn't ever have a shot with LOL). She isn't shy at ALL about making eye contact and she holds it. Mostly though, if I express an opinion, no matter how smoothly, how lightly I try to present it. It's often met with a very strong reaction. The people that know me well or see me every day seem to lose that strong reaction to things. Anyway, I think it's sort of difficult to tell because people just look down and cruise by. IP: Logged |

I relate so well to that, Barbiegirl! Sometimes, silly things happen to me in public and I really hate that and I feel stupid and self conscience afterwards, like everyone one earth knows about it but me and I'm careless, clumsy, and confused. That's the Neptune affect, even though it's not on my ascendant, the confusion and lack of attention to certain details feeds into it. Other times, it's just me that gets the attention for being myself, not because of mistakes I make. This is entirely first house. Again, Neptune helps from the second house.
In fact, when I was a kid, my mother worried about the affects of too much attention on my psyche. For one thing, I'm an only child so she had this fear I would develop a complex without other kids around to share parental attention with.
I find this appropriate with the stellium right on the ascending degree with Jupiter less than one degree away!

So you aren't the kind of guy everyone looks at when you enter the room? I wonder how many people have this happen with their ascendant planets, sun or moon?
I am particularly interested in the outer planets, Jupiter and Saturn. Mars, too. I have read a lot about Venus on the ascendant, what about some of the others? Venus seems to get people noticed due to the native being exceptionally pretty or attractive, with good, clear skin, pleasing features, and a Venusian personality that relates well to others. What about the rest? Sun gets attention just by being very lively and animated. The sun person will grab that attention by making sure they are noticed by their own words and actions. Is Mars similar? How many people with Pluto on the ascendant have others gravitate toward them for no discernible reason they can see? Stuff just happens.

-All sextile my Gemini ASC Moon in Taurus is semi-square ASC Mars is conjunct ASC Chiron is conjunct ASC (if anyone could clarify how that affects my appearance or outward manner, briefly, that'd be great. I don't get Chiron but the ASC is sorta big deal) If I had to describe the feeling I get when I enter places… it's like I can't go unnoticed. Glammed up or not, I always feel "noticed" and it makes me self-conscious, though I don't think I'm being judged in a bad way. IP: Logged |

I walked into a men restroom once and it was embarrassing -__-Nah, I haven't noticed similar things in my case. I'm the invisible (wo)man, I bet I could empty a bank and no one would even notice my presence haha. Oh, but I get "noticed" a lot at work, school, job interviews.... I come off as competent and good at what I do, although the truth is I'm only as good as the next person. When I first graduated and started to work as a "professional" - not really, kinda a "novice". 6 months later there was this strange "award" thingy at my workplace where every senior ranked the junior "new blood" and they told me I was the most competent. I was like "Ermmm... Thank you." I have noticed people who have stellium in the 1st or the 10th, strong Uranus, mars, or sun - people can't help but notice them, whether they want it or not. That's great to hear, you get noticed for doing nice things and good work. I am glad you are here to balance the thread because people have noticed me for both good and bad things, lol.
I am giving the impression I am talking about what's negative only but it can be anything. When I was a teenager, I was so lost most the time, worried and uneasy around a lot of people, that's when embarrassing mistakes were made, when I wasn't paying attention and stressed because I felt much more comfortable with close friends or alone, in my own house. I had trouble shutting everything out and concentrating with so much going on around me.
Luckily, things like that only happen rarely now that I have more experience coping. My neurons must have deadened some. I used to lock my keys in the car, too, haven't done it in years. I felt like the absent minded professor most of the time! I was especially bad when I first started driving. Venus and Saturn indicate diligent, studious workers, sometimes, with a talent they can develop. IP: Logged |

Okay, I can be driving down the street, there is someone walking on a sidewalk beside the road, and I will look over briefly and as soon as I look over, they will turn around and stare at me. I have wondered what makes them turn and stare. Does this sort of thing happen to you?

I thought someone who did that would have at least one item in their first? I have, in the past, colored my hair but not for attention. I just wanted to be in that crowd, the kind that colored theirs, as opposed to the ones who didn't who I considered boring.

^ Once bleached and coloured mine blue lol it was trendy at the time n I thought it was neatSSS lol on the bad side, I do get noticed by pervs and the likes. I can relate to a lot of what you said about your teenage years. Just that even my own feelings are “blurry” to me, it’s a blessing in disguise. You know, instead of forming a huge monster licking its chops, they form a kind of a faint shadow hanging over my head. I know it’s there, just that I don’t “see” it clearly so I find it easy to ignore.

They don't look at others while I am there. They are looking at the ground or straight ahead and turn to look at me. I have wondered if they can feel my presence or me staring at them? Maybe it has something to do with my energy? IP: Logged |

How does Uranus affect you? SSS, you have this correct? Or Neptune? I mean, are these first house? Pluto 1st house, I seem to always be a project of some sort.
Currently, I'm forcing myself to quit drinking soda. I don't want to. I also quit buying bread because I eat too much of it. So I just didn't buy it. I'm CONSTANTLY doing things like this.
