i had that with an old friend: my pluto in her 3rd house
her mercury conj my neptune/3rd house.
we didnt even speak much now that i remember (and she was an aqua mooner O_o )

did you ever experienced it in a romantic synastry?
i dont like pluto in my 12th but yes, being there it aspects my mercury and it feels like the he knows my deepest thoughts even when im silent.

Oddly I have this with my mother perhaps maternal bond plus our :
Mercury/mercury sextile
Moon/ neptune dw
Mercury sq neptune exact
Asc/neptune dw

Though I do think all signs are able to do so natally or at least with the right synastry.

Moon/Mercury conjunct Pallas or Psyche
Pallas/Psyche aspecting each other (including Pallas-Pallas, Psyche-Psyche)
Neptune to Pallas or Psyche
(maybe also Uranus/Pluto to Pallas or Psyche).

3rd house ruler conjunct Neptune (Uranus, Pluto), Pallas or Psyche

If some strong conjunctions are there, other tight aspects might indicate it, too.
For example I could imagine that a trine between Mercury and Neptune might also apply, maybe a little more subtle, as they are sharing the same element (send on the same wavelength) and it represents an unhindered flow of energy

Not exclusively. All elements are capable of telepathy, it just works a little bit differently for each. For water signs it is very intuitive stuff, an endless stream of input, air signs on the other hand may get flashes of insights, in a more erratic manner.
Not sure how it would be for Fire or Earth signs though.

In my case , we have tight orb moon -neptune conjunction . This alone is also strong without others. His moon is in my 3rdH , (my moon in his 10th) , my mercury in his 8th .

Another aspect that I heard are..
- moon conjunct moon
- Mercury - neptune
- mercury in same element or conjunct
- mercury -moon good aspect

Ok now that you mentioned it,what if there are no planets in the 12th house on synastry, but in composite chart you have a stellium in the 12th house?

Jupiter conj. Venus 19° in Scorpio
Moon conj. Mercury conj. Uranus 4° in Sagittarius

It should count 'cause I have a freaky intense telepathy with that person...

Yeah probably 'cause there are conjunctions to our natal charts too. For example my natal Vertex conjuncts the composite MC exactly.Our basic telepathy is through dreams.Thanks for the reply,I enjoy it indeed.Btw, I'm Cappy too lol!
