I write and have published poetry with my mercury trine neptune in Taurus and Capricorn

I've just been looking at charts of two people i know that studied english literature with hopes to write and whilst neither have mercury-neptune, their suns receive conjunctions from either planet. One has sun conjunct mercury, the other from uranus and neptune.

They're quite pretentious people. The one with sun-mercury also has most planets in the 12th too including mercury and has MC in pisces like me.

All three of us have prominent Cancer in our charts too come to think of it.

Writing is also my thing. Got Mercury conjunct Venus in a tight t-square with Neptune/moon and Saturn. Sun in Gemini and Mars/Uranus/Pluto conjunct in Virgo.

I have an exact Mercury-Neptune conjunction in the third house, and I have to say that I do write a lot. A lot of people think that I am an excellent writer and should pursue writing as a career surprisingly. I also have Pisces Jupiter in the fifth too though

I have a site which I post fanfictions I write. You can check it out if you wish.

I work as an author. Not famous or anything, but decent size following.

-Merc conj ASC (wide orb)
-Merc conj Venus (wide orb)
-Sun in the 12th
-Merc square Uranus
-Moon in the 5th
-Sun conj fomalhaut (supposedly royal star connected to writers)

I also notice I have the muse asteroids in exact conjunctions.

Yeah, especially having Gemini Mars in the 3rd House, which one would think could add an "Arian" flavour to your communication style. Out of curiosity, what sign is your Mercury in? Does the sign itself accurately reflect how you communicate in everyday life?

I'm not expecting fame, but there are factors in my chart that could set me up for it.

I have:
----Sun in Taurus in 6th house
----Sun in Taurus trine Uranus in Capricorn
----Sun in Taurus trine Neptune in Capricorn
----Moon in Gemini in 8th house
----Mercury in Aries in 5th house
----Mercury in Aries sextile Saturn in Aquarius
----Mercury in Aries square Uranus in Capricorn
----Mercury in Aries square Neptune in Capricorn
----Venus in Taurus in 6th house
----Venus in Taurus trine Jupiter in Virgo
----Venus in Taurus trine Midheaven in Virgo
----Venus in Taurus trine North Node in Capricorn
----Jupiter in Virgo in 10th house
----Jupiter in Virgo conjunct Midheaven
----Jupiter in Virgo trine North Node in Capricorn
----Saturn in Aquarius in 3rd house
----Uranus in Capricorn in 2nd house
----Neptune in Capricorn in 2nd house
----Midheaven in Virgo
----North Node in Capricorn in 2nd house
----North Node trine Midheaven

All the orbs for the aspects I just listed are within 3-4 degrees if not tighter.

I have a lot of activity going on in my money houses and a lot of aspects between planets in them. Saturn in 3rd house somewhat slows me down, but I actually like having Saturn there. While it slows me down, my career is extremely important to me and I need to have that kind of slow pace for things to work out. If I don't have an exceptional understanding of how to write, I'm not going to make it as a writer.

My situation is unusual and, so far, no one believe what I say when I talk about it. You can probably get a decent idea just from me having both Uranus and Neptune in 2nd house. Regardless, based on responses I've received on things I've written, the potential for success is there, but I'm definitely not at that level yet. I think the way I communicate is sometimes direct and straightforward and people get a sense of clarity from how I phrase things. It's like my phrasing ends up as the perfect way of saying X or Y thing. This could help with being a good writer later on.

Unfortunately, I don't expect much career progress until my Saturn Return or after my Saturn Return. I'm definitely a late-bloomer in the career area.

I love writing but publishing anything seems like a terrifying proposition. Kudos to all of the Virgo/Gemini/Mercury peeps with the guts to do it.

I have Sun/Mercury/Venus in Virgo, all trine Neptune. I also have Venus and Mercury trine Uranus. Gemini Moon and Mars in my 4th house. My Sun and Mercury are in my 8th. Jupiter in Leo in my 7th. I love writing, but it's just for me. I'm not interested in sharing it with anyone. I'm sure I'll be one of those oddballs with crap writings stuffed in their attic that a stranger has to sort through one day.

My mother has had aspirations to become a published writer her whole life, but never really made it (yet at least). She has: 3rd house Leo Mercury, conjunct Leo Sun and IC, square 5th house Scorpio Neptune. Neptune trine 10th house Pisces Saturn and square Aquarius MC. Venus, Uranus and Pluto in Virgo. North Node and Jupiter in Gemini 12th house.

So a lot of the typical writer indications are there... But maybe the harsh aspects and the 12th house involvement hinder her? No aspect between Mercury and Saturn either. Mercury on the IC is perhaps also too private to spawn much public success...? She is a respected visual artist, but definitely not famous in that field either.

On the flip side I've never had much writing ambition... but I also tick most of the boxes. Sun in Gemini 9th house, Cancer Mercury conjunct Mars on the Midheaven. Virgo Moon. Capricorn Neptune conjunct IC in the 3rd house, opposite Mercury/Mars/Midheaven. Saturn in Sagittarius 3rd house, parallel Neptune and opposite Sun. Uranus also in 3rd, loosely conjunct Saturn and parallel IC/contraparallel Midheaven.

I think I channel all the above energies, plus my Taurus Venus, into singing instead of writing.
