I'm on my period this week.

Is there anything in astrology related to the woman's menstrual cycle? Should I be paying special attention to the phases of the moon? Is there anything in a woman's chart that points to the length ad type of periods she has? I have a lengthy 7 day period. I feel cursed. Periods are messy and they're not fun...

My Cancer Sun friend gets her period on the full moon every time. I read once that periods usually last as long as it takes for the moon to make a full cycle, even if it may not sync up like it does with my friend.

This is such a general question. I'm sorry but nothing in astrology will give you an answer to that. That's a question for you gyno....lol

You have a point, I guess.

You know the cycles of the moon makes a lot of sense,
astrologically.
We all know what the moon is about etc.

Honestly, I don't like having a period so I'm trying to use astrology to help me accept it

That's just apart of being a woman unfortunately. We bleed so that we can have babies. Even the animals have periods and bleed.

Don't get me started. I get PMS around the time that I start to feel the full moon coming on, and I always get it either the day of the full moon, or a day before or after, etc.

It's like a double ***** whammy.
Do not...make...eye contact.

My Sun and Moon have all that asteroid action and whatnot going on, so maybe that's a potential astrological thing?

In other news, I can completely understand why people in medieval times thought that women were possibly possessed by the devil while they were on their periods.

I got mine yesterday, and the last two nights before that I stayed up really late and had work or school in the morning.
That right there is not a good combination. After class yesterday I went to my guys place brought him water cause he was hungover, and most of the time over there I slept and slept. So I couldn't feel any pain.

The first 3 days are the heaviest for me so on these days whatever I'm doing, I try to make my self as comfortable as possible. The kind of pants you wear can make a huge difference on these days.

I don't have any PMS symptoms. I'm find them inconvenient, but other than that, I don't become moody or have food cravings. Mine typically lasts 5 days. However, as a teen, they were extremely painful and would last 10 days. Thankfully, they stopped hurting when I turned 23.

Most women that I've been in relationships with didn't have it so bad. Mild to moderate cramps for a day perhaps - but manageable.

I think there was one (funny I don't remember who it was exactly). It would just lay her up for a whole day like she had the flu or something!

Maca is natural food that regulates hormones. Periods should not be horrible. If they are, one should look for natural remedies imo.

Ouch i hate having a period! My last 6-7 days. Once the pain was so big that i passed out- i was young, the weather was hot, no pain killers:/ I have extreme PMS but no mood changes during
Hmm...i think Moon is important. I have Moon conjunct Uranus
quote:
Women with this aspect (from the Astrology Profile for Women report): With the Moon in conjunction with Uranus in your chart, you may feel that you are riding an emotional roller coaster. Your highs can be very high, and your lows, very low. Your hormonal cycles may also be rather extreme, and you might benefit by taking a very careful look at holistic ways to handle PMS.
