Wouldn't Pluto in the 8th be more fitting than Saturn?.

No... Saturn describes his personality. Hard ass, somber. Besides with saturn things improve with age.
Plutonians are a force to reckon with since birth lol.

Include reality into their fiction. And in your opinion for example what would give a pisces or an aquarius to their fiction?

The mother in White Oleander was much more mental than emotional, more deductive than intuitive, and that speaks of air sign to me. And before Barry (the man she had a fling with before killing) she wouldn't have much of anything to do with men (and she was also very good with computers). Sure, she was a sociopath, but it's a myth that being a Scorpio is a prerequisite for being a sociopath. The only truly Scorpio part I'd consider for her is her obsession with Barry and yet even that strikes me as more Cancer than Scorpio...and Cancers, IIRC, are statistically more likely to kill over being spurned than Scorpio (at least Cancer is more likely to get caught at it...) If she were Scorpio she should be a lot more hypnotic about it to (don't confuse the character with the actress) and she's pretty much reviled by almost everyone (save the women's studies class that adopts her). And speaking of the twisted feminists that embraced her the letter where she mentions them in the novel sounds more Aquarius than Scorpio to me: quote: Dear Astrid,Bravo! Though your letter as poetry leaves something to be desired, at least it indicates a spark, a capacity for fire which I never would have believed you possessed. But really, you cannot think you will cut yourself free of me so easily. I live in you, in your bones, the delicate coils of your mind. I made you. I formed the thoughts you find, the moods you carry. Your blood whispers my name. Even in rebellion, you are mine. You want my penitence, demand my shame? Why would you want me to be less than I am, so you could find it easier to dismiss me? I'd rather you think me grotesque, florid with fantasy. I'm out of segregation, thank you for asking. Waiting for me on my restoration to Barneburg B was, among other missives, a letter from Harper's. Oh, the praise, the jailhouse Plath! (Although I am no suicide, no baked poetess with my head among the potatoes.) Do not give up on me so soon, Astrid. There are people who are interested in my case. I will not molder here like the Man in the Iron Mask. This is the millenium. Anything can happen. And if I had to be wrongly imprisoned to be noticed by Harper's--well...you could almost say it was worth it. And to think, when I was out, a good day was a handwritten rejection from Dog Breath Review. They're taking a long poem on bird themes--the prison crows, migratory geese, I even used the doves, remember them? On St. Andrew's Place. Of course you do. You remember everything. You were afraid of the ruined dovecote, wouldn't go out into the yard until I'd prodded among the clumps of ivy to scare off snakes. You were always frightened of the wrong thing. I found the fact that the doves returned, though the chicken wire had long since given way to ivy, a far more troubling prospect. You want to write me off? Try. Just realize when you're cutting off the plank upon which you stand, which end of it is nailed to the ship. I will survive, but will you? I have a following--I call them my children. Young pierced artists avid with admiration, they make their pilgrimage here from Fontana and Long Beach, Sonoma and San Bernardino, they come from as far away as Vancouver, B.C. And if I can say so, they are much more to my taste than trembling actresses with two-carat wedding bands. They claim a network of renegade feminists, lesbians, practitioners of Wicca and performance artists up and down the West Coast, a sort of Underground Goddess Train. They're ready to help me any way that they can; they are willing to forgive me anything. Why aren't you? Your loving mother, Masturbating Rot Crow P.S. I have a surprise for you. I've just met my new attorney, Susan D. Valeris. Recognize the name? Attorney for the feminine damned? The one in the black curls, red lips like those chattering windup teeth? She's come to exploit my martyrdom. I don't begrudge her. There's more than enough for everyone.
And this from the movie seems more Aquarius (with a strong splash of Cancer) to me, too, from the very beginning to 2:20: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9Cx4a4hiUo IP: Logged |

To me, she just seems like fixed signs squaring each other, especially squares from other fixed signs to anything in Scorpio. I know people with afflicted personal planets in Scorpio that haven't killed anyone yet, but they are definitely obsessive about their partners and really jealous. Not saying everyone with afflicted Scorpio planets are but if someone actually were that obsessive and jealous, which is basically what the mother in this book/movie is, an obsessively jealous basket case who wants ultimate revenge equaling death without worrying about consequences, Scorpio and afflictions to fixed signs are the first to pop in my mind just because of what I've seen irl.

I agree with oart of what StarlightSmileSupreme said. That's why i think maybe the mother is an aquarius with scorpio rising or scorpio moon, think about that, both are fixed sign and water and windIP: Logged |

I agree with the Scorpio moon part. There's an all or nothing component sometimes with Scorpio moon. IP: Logged |

Clementine (Kate Winslet) from "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" (probably one of my favorite film characters in history):Sagittarius Sun (free-spirited/unfiltered/irresponsible) Gemini Moon (restless/chatty/bipolar-like moods) Scorpio Venus (goes from 0 to 60 very quickly in relationships/uses sex to charm or interest people/wants intimacy) Aquarius or Leo Rising (attention-seeking/dramatic and unconventional appearance with all the different hair colors) IP: Logged |

Anyone care to guess for the characters Mulder and Scully? Officially Mulder was born October 13, 1961 (okay, I could see him as a Libra...) and Dana Scully was born February 23, 1964, but I'd be curious what placements they seem to have to you. I've only seen a few shows, most from the first 4 seasons, so I'm hardly an expert on the show...what I've seen makes me undecided, too. IP: Logged |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCyzdQ8kqis Detective Loki from the movie Prisoners. Total Pluto. Jake G. apparently made up the background for the character. He made him an orphan that never really knew his parents, was passed around the foster system and ended up in jail as a kid. As he grew up he still stayed in the same environment but became a detective since he knew and was okay with being around the criminal mind. This perfectly reminds me of Pluto. I loved the character.
