I've read that this can be an indication of a secret admirer, but would the Venus person be the one admiring the 12th house person, or the other way around? I know a few people whose Venus is in my 12th, and I wouldn't say that I secretly admire them (at least not in terms of a romantic crush), so maybe they might admire me (in some way?) and I just wouldn't know it since they'd be keeping it a secret.... or, what else would anyone have to say on this?

I've read similar thing. When my venus falls into someone's 12th house, I find myself "drawn" towards them, not always in a romantic way.

In my synastry with my s.o, my venus is in his 12th house. Admirer, yes. Secret, nah.. But it's true that I had a crush on him while he didn't even know of my existence lol

Often: Their Venus in my 12th = I am secretely attracted to them in an odd way (not necessarily romantic although when it is, it feels otherworldly).

It could be an indication of a secret admirer or someone who likes you but doesn't say. Maybe they don't because they feel insecure or incompatible in other ways that will keep the relationship from developing into something more serious.

I actually like people with Venus in Virgo. They are usually nice and somehow we end up having some kind of relationship, even if it is just friendship. I have never had a "love" relationship with any of them and my "friend" relationships are kinda iffy, but they are fun while they last and no one is taking things too personally, arguing. My best friend in school had Venus in Virgo and we kinda had this attitude toward each other like we were friends because we couldn't find anyone else better. Two misfits. But, I think it was spiritual too. She went on to be a great spiritual leader in her field. Maybe, it really is about unseen forces, spirit and karma. What seems to be an iffy relationship is actually doing great things to the soul?

You know, what's really weird is, I got a copy of my friend's natal chart years ago, she mocked my efforts, she doesn't believe in any of this, she has a keen interest in astronomy , physics, these types of subjects while I like to keep my mind open, studying them all, and I saw she had a stellium in her tenth house with sun conjunct Jupiter and a twelfth house Neptune, I think. This was when she was when she was interested in soldiering and the military. I told her the chart said she would be a spiritual leader of some kind, she has Sagittarius rising and the sun conjuncts the chart ruler. She didn't really care about what I was saying. She did become a great spiritual leader, eventually, earning a masters in theology. This was something completely unforeseen by how her life was unfolding at the time. This sorta relates to the twelfth house Venus imo.
A telling aspect of someone who will do extraordinary things in life is the ruler of the chart conjunct the sun or moon and near the MC or ruling it.

So you see, the twelfth house person will have a startling affect on the soul of the Venus person without even realizing it. Twelfth house is about profound, life altering effects that are so subtle, no one really realizes what is happening until they think about it later and concentrate. This house rules the past.

I hope you have found this anecdote helpful

This. I haven't often met people that have Venus in my 12th house (my 12th house being Scorpio); however, this last year I did. The guy whose Venus fell into my 12th house was originally an acquaintance, but he is also a dance teacher and I started taking lessons with him.

Early on, I inwardly dubbed him my 'spiritual teacher' because he had an uncanny ability to point out things and teach me things about myself that I truly had a giant blind spot around (these are sometimes hard for me to recognize because I am very self-analytic). I was impressed by his ability to spot these traits where no one else had pointed them out to me before. Ultimately our friendship broke down, in part, due to the fact that we also had a brief flirtation that didn't work out (it was pretty obvious we were interested in each other, but there was some sort of hesitation on his part that I don't know the reasons for- so that kind of follows the secret admirer aspect of the 12th house).

Oddly, I felt like my entire dealing with him, both the good and the bad parts felt karmic and seemed meant to teach a lesson. The final lesson being that I actually learned how to stand up for myself and try to manage conflict through negotiation instead of letting my usual bad habits of running away from situations kick in. I do think I would still be doing business with him if he hadn't responded to me in the way that he had (by trying to bully me and get me to back down when I was making reasonable requests from him; ultimately he was in denial about his actions towards me).

To me, it was truly an unfortunate situation because I admired his style of relating to others in a way that I couldn't, however, I also refused to be steamrolled and walked all over by his more forceful personality.

12th house lessons are like the previous poster mentioned- an iffy relationship that does great things for the soul. Personal transformation, change, and inward reflection doesn't generally happen when we are surrounded by people who think and feel exactly like we do. Sometimes our best spiritual teachers are the ones who don't work out for us in the long run.

Oddly, I met this guy when the transiting Saturn was conjuncting my natal Saturn in Scorpio in the 12th. My natal Scorpio Saturn is ruled by Mars in the 9th (teacher/student) and Pluto in Libra (the arts- dance). His Scorpio Venus actually conjuncted my 12th house Saturn. It felt like a 'karma balancing' relationship to me, but I think I held up my end better than he did.

Had this with a Scorpio man, very spiritual and deep, otherworldly, it's hard to see the relationship in reality but once you find some kind of reality balancing out the fantasy it's like a dream come true. Be wary of deceptions though.

My venus falls into his 12th house. No, I am not a secret admirer. He chased me. I only started to have feelings for him when the relationship started.
