Extreme and intense love. Also powerful sexual attraction. The house person is smitten about Venus person but can work both ways. I have this aspect with someone. I am beyond smitten.IP: Logged |

The Venus person probes and shakes the status quo of the house person : They think that they know their own tastes, what they like, and then comes the Venus person and unearths the side of their personality that's both intriguing and unfamiliar. The house person is thirsty for Venus person's love, even the slightest vestige of love means so much to them. There's a intertwining sense of vulnerability and intimacy. I have this with some family members (their Venus in my 8th)...such as my mother...so I can't speak to this in a romantic sense. But with my mother, her love definitely has a ferocious and obsessive quality. She can be manipulative (in small ways) and I've aways felt her to be way too intrusive into my personal space. Her love can be overwhelming at times, which causes me to pull way, which in turn can cause her to become neurotic. All in all, if you want a mama bear who you know'll destroy anything that attempts to harm you, it's a good thing...otherwise, yikes.IP: Logged |

I currently have someone's Aries Sun, Venus, Mercury and Mars in my 8H and he has my Cancer Sun, Venus, Mercury in his 8H. He also has his Virgo Moon conjunct my Mars and Ascendant and Vertex in Cancer...and.....yeah....I am fighting this, I really really am.IP: Logged |

That absolutely sense because (at least in my experience) the house person usually feels it more than the planet person. But sometimes it's the planet person that's more affected and this seems to be especially common with the 8th house... synastry in general is unpredictable. IP: Logged |
