I have Taurus Mars in the 9th oppose Scorpio Pluto in the 3rd, square Aqua Jupiter at 6th.I don't think that I'm really violent on the outside, but my thoughts and inner emotions can be a bit troubling. If I feel too intensively, I tend to cry or prefer to walk away in order to avoid losing control. Once during a verbal fight with someone who wouldn't let me walk away, I threw my mobile phone to the floor as it was too much for me. But I hardly ever lost control of my anger with people (thought I used to get into fights with my brother when we were young), as it takes a lot to really anger me to that point and I don't allow myself to fall into such, or even avoid such situations. I think that I still need to learn about anger and emotions management and healthy let outs, I also tend to bottle them up inside me. IP: Logged |

I have mars trine Pluto mars square ascendant, when I get angry I do tend to throw things but try and not hurt people, unless they try to physically hurt me I will fight back. Also if anyone tries to play mind or power plays with me I will explode on you. IP: Logged |

I have Mars square Pluto. As my Mars is in Leo I get angry when my pride/ego is intentionally hurt or when I'm violated. Also when I'm upset or ill. My anger is pretty much only directed at males and inanimate objects. I have a high tolerance so you can do something that bothers me for a long time before you get any sort of reaction. When you do finally get one it's so sudden you'll not see it coming. I do get physically violent but only when I feel like I don't have any other choice, I will firstly always verbally express what is angering and upsetting me. For example if I'm being touched inappropriately and I tell them to stop and they don't, it's pretty much guaranteed that I will hit and/or kick you. If you're lucky I may even pick up an object and hit you with that. I would like to add a disclaimer that I am not a violent or aggressive person. My natural demeanor is of smiles and happiness with my Sagittarius rising. IP: Logged |

Mars in hard aspect to Pluto, unquestionably. These souls have a lot to learn about power in this lifetime. Starting out, they think "power" means the ability to defend oneself and show others who's boss. As they grow, however, they realize -or should- that true power is harnessing their anger and using it constructively, as opposed to feeding into their rage and losing control. It's funny that most of them claim there are "power plays" in their life that really send them over the edge, when it's they themselves subconsciously looking for those power plays in their relationship choices and self-destructive habits. They are not primitive in their anger outbursts like a Moon-Mars; they are much slower to anger, but when they do, it's volcanic. It's a defense mechanism of theirs; in childhood, they were sent the message that their anger was not welcomed, so they learned to be ashamed of their anger and suppress it. Thus they learn to suppress their anger into adult years, so that when they finally do blow up, they feel it's justified after having "put up with so much." So many people in my family have this configuration, as do a lot of people in my personal life. As a Venus-Pluto myself, we tend to attract one another. IP: Logged |

I agree that Mars and Pluto in hard aspect is the aspect most likely to produce violent behavior. I think Moon-Mars and Sun-Mars in hard aspect as well as other aspects and placements that create anger can also lead to issues with violence. quote: Originally posted by PlutoFish: Mars in the 9th House - Militant Views on morals that you are willing to fight for
I have my Mars in the 9th and I couldn't be less militant. I'm also hardly the activist type. Maybe it's because Mars is in Cap and retrograde. Although my ex also has Mars in the 9th (in Gem conj. her MC) and while she's more willing to work to make the world a better place than I am she's not at all extreme. So I'm not sure this placement is a good predictor of militancy, or at least not in my experience.

I think Moon conjunct Mars or moon in Aries is more inclined because I have seen this irl. Everyone says Mars in bad aspect to Pluto. How many people know a violent person with this irl or is just because it's been read in books that copy one another?I have Mars square Pluto and am sickened by violence so I find this incredibly ironic. I dislike any kind of physical confrontation, wrestling, boxing, contact sports in general. I am a big baby about stuff like this, like if someone hugs me too hard I whimper. I even have a reputation for being like this, so when I was younger, other people bear hugged me on purpose just to make fun of me. That's the kind of energy I attracted. This is how Mars square Pluto is in my life. IP: Logged |

For some reason all three siblings have Mars-Pluto in hard aspect in my family. We do have an interest in sports; my brother especially. From the three of us, the only one who has gotten into physical fights is my brother, and that because that's something boys tend to do between them. As a child he had the milder character between the two of us. No exhibitions of violence from him, if you got him angry, he would hide your book in the garden or something (done this to both me and my mother, the little git). Our sister, 10 years younger, broke the car glass with a cellphone she threw over, lol. But she did that in a period when she had serious problems, so I'm not sure if that counts. Normally she is the meekest person imaginable, not only is she not rude at all, she is also very helpful to others. As for myself, I did try to break a table at some point, ended up hurting myself in the process, so I never tried such things again. I hate pain with a passion (mars in taurus?). No, seriously, I think from the three of us the only one viable to become a violent person would be me. I was the one with the nastier temper growing up, definitely. But my gender and weak constitution saw that wouldn't happen. Anyway, my wild days ended when I moved away from my parents and started to make my own choices on who I wanted to relate myself with. Et voila, no strained relationships and angry outbursts no more. Actually, here's the part where I want to get into a rant on how with no family history of having that aspect, there could be three kids having it born from the same parents, and the implications this holds for their parenting style. But I'll restrain myself now. IP: Logged |

Non violent people are the privileged types who have never been in a sticky situation...I've been in plenty situation were I've had to be violent, being who am I am. I think it's important for people to take self defensive classes if you're the type that starts to go into a fetal position lol. Though I would never own a gun because the intent is to kill someone. I've just learned to subdue predators with my hands and uh surrounding objects LOL and if it starts going sour just go for the balls and take away their right to reproduce lol. IP: Logged |

Militant maybe was an exaggeration, but i would fight passionately for most of my beliefs. My Mars is in Leo, it's probably because my Moons in Sagittarius and Jupiter is conjunct the Ascendant and Pluto in Scorpio. IP: Logged |

I even have this fear of freezing in a sticky situation, like if someone breaks into my home. I know I can be so scared it's like I am paralyzed and I worry about this happening when I have to defend myself. It's not like I am opposed to defending myself. I have always had a difficult time with physical confrontations. Hate them, hate them, hate them. I guess this makes me the most boring person on the planet but I have a wacky CNS.Mars is in the third house, Pluto in the twelfth, so you see, you must take into account the houses with the aspects. My CNS has always been touchy and people ridicule me, call me a coward and weak because physical contact feels stronger to me than it does to others and I tend to react badly, so being violent, like getting into fist fights are wrestling someone to the ground, I just cannot physically do it very easily and have a fear of it. I also am very sensitive to loud noises so that's let out firing a gun. Too jittery for a knife fight. So much for Mars square Pluto making one violent. I am violent in my mind, only. I like verbal confrontations and prefer telling someone off verbally when they wrong me but they always prefer physical which I abhor. IP: Logged |

Phhhsh, I have all three plus Moon-Pluto. I should be slapping people left and right the way you people are going. No to pick on you or anything, but you'd better refer to real life people instead of generalized things like that. Pluto and Mars aspects have really unfortunate connotations about them. IP: Logged |

Mars conjunct Asc Mars square moon Mars trine JupiterSomehow, I am really not violent although I will put on quite a show and get a crazy look. The reason I say somehow is because the desire lies within. In fact, not normally something that I would admit but sometimes I have a desire to take it to the most extreme. There's something inside, some kind of checks and balances you might say, that prevents it - awareness of consequences. I'm not willing to sacrifice myself to punishment just to release my aggression. Actually, funny that this was brought up at this time. Just last night I left work 6 hours early. It's unusual that I do that but I had to. I was losing my mind. Even close to bed time I was still sighing from stress and tension. My whole body was tense - my hands clinched or wanting to clinch. I was just wanting to let it out on someone, anyone, even hours later. Again though, something checks me inside. Instead, I went home, did some yoga, watched some shows on Netflix and went to bed. VERY VERY often I fantasize about violence as I'm listening to music and going to trying to sleep. Oh, and self-defense videos. I'm a big fan of those. I really like Bas Rutten's videos. He makes it really entertaining also. IP: Logged |

I have:Sco Asc Mars square Asc Mars and Mercury trine Pluto which is probably balanced by: lots of air and Libra Venus sextile Asc Mars and Mercury sextile Neptune I am extremely peaceful and pacifist and look completely harmless. I am also not strong physically so I wouldn't even try to fight back physically. But in VERY rare extreme situations I felt like a power was rising inside me and I could harm just with my eyes, to the point that a gang with knives backed off when I was a teenager, just from my looking at them LOL.
