Nope. Or, should I say - not really.I have Mars loosely conjunct the DSC (from the 6th) and I lack energy so much, I'm basically a living vegetable.  I only feel energized and "alive" when there's someone significant in my life - usually a romantic interest or a close friend. That's when my Mars kicks in... I become much more assertive, active, argument-prone and sexual (otherwise my sex drive is basically non-existent). So, I do need an 'other' to activate my 7th house planet (Mars) but once it's activated, I own it more, which can be really surprising because I don't come across as Martian at all (usually very passive / agreeable) so I'm pretty sure some people find it shocking just how different I can be once you get closer to me.

About the projection thing: I do project my Mars it seems and tend to attract people who play it out for me - and it's not a direct, openly aggressive energy, but more subtle - psychological BS, mind games / backstabbing (My Mars is in Scorpio conjunct Pluto and square Saturn and Moon). So it's usually not "in your face" but their power tricks tend to draw my own aggressiveness out and I can become forceful when I perceive manipulation from others.
It all started with my mother (who has Mars conjunct the ASC) and her mind tricks made me feel powerless growing up, so I had to tone down my assertiveness / power / agressiveness and 'submit' to her... and now whenever someone tries to pull that same trick on me - BAM! My Mars shows. Oh and I'm physically attracted to assertive / confident people. Not emotionally though (Mars square Moon). It can be tough. IP: Logged |

I agree! Seventh house are other people and how you will serve them, kinda like with the sixth house, it's similar but you might find more enjoyment when the planets are in seventh, not sixth. I consider sixth more like servitude, seventh is more equal partner. MC is Supreme Lord. Seventh is the first place in the wheel you feel on even footing with everyone else. IP: Logged |

My 7th planet is Neptune. It aspects my Sun, my Mercury, my Moon and my rising sign (conjunct DSC).
I don't have the slightest idea about how I come off to people, and honestly I have a hard time getting any interest in it. IP: Logged |

So are you kinda not interested in people with Neptune in this house? I find the seventh (and sixth) so fascinating because most everything I have is in the other half of the chart. Only north node, moon and Saturn are over there. I have many planets hovering near the ascendant and I am far more introspective and interested in exploring my thoughts and ideas. I equate the other side of the chart, opposite the ascendant, as the space where people reach out to others, trying to find out how they are thinking or feeling, how they are doing.

It's true that I'm the only person I know with Neptune in the 7th ^^
I used to be deeply, genuinely interested in people but experience has changed me. I met emotional vampires, people who used my interest to emotionally blackmail me, people who repaid my tolerance with judging...
All this made me much, much less available.
