Hello, I'm wondering if I should quit while I'm ahead because of the fear of abuse. We have mars square saturn and other very hard aspects in our charts. Also, what's with the NN connections?!Our aspects are: Sun Square Pluto Sun Trine Mars Moon Trine Moon Moon Sextile Saturn Sun Conjunct Mercury Sun Square Jupiter Sun Sextile Pluto Sun Semisquare Mars Mercury Conjunct Neptune Mercury Square Jupiter Mercury Semisquare Mars Mercury Sextile Pluto Venus Square Jupiter Venus Sesquiquadrate Uranus Mars Square Saturn Mars Semisextile Uranus Saturn Conjunct Pluto Saturn Trine Uranus Mercury Conjunct Sun/Neptune N. I only see sun square pluto and mars square saturn as the most destructive aspects you have together. But they can also be though enough! But sun square pluto and pluto square pluto is your only pluto aspects? I think you should look at both your natal charts before you act on it. Cause it's only gonna be bad if you both have destructive pluto aspects in your own chart. And if you both aren't especially plutonian, I wouldn't be so concerned? It's not gonna be felt much then. All your other aspects seem really good, so it would be a shame to let it go You also seem to have good neptune and mercury aspect, so maybe your communication skills will solve it for you

*whew* good to hear. I'm really new to astrology so I still have a lot to learn. When I saw the Mars square saturn I kind of freaked out. He has a sun oppose pluto but I don't have anything negativeIP: Logged |

Is there any reason outside the charts that is alarming you? Hard synastry aspects involving Saturn and Pluto are not necessarily destructive even if they can be difficult, but it depends a lot on other aspects and the individuals' maturity to see how they'd manifest. Also, nice aspects doesn't always mean all roses and rainbows - it only shows compatibility for better and worse, so that if one is abusive then it can show that the other is his/her compatible victim. I'd suggest taking a look at the composite chart to see how the relationship is, as synastry only shows how each perceive the other. Try to check aspects to/between midpoints in this chart too as it can be telling.
Also, for abusive signs in synastry you can check for Nessus/Dejanira aspects. IP: Logged |

No, there isn't anything outside the chart to show any problem. That was the composite chart I put up. I just didn't add any of the details bc I didn't want to swamp the page. Just from the reading I got a bit of a feeling of deceit as it kept coming up and how in one angle there could be potential for violence.I also looked and have good pluto aspects in my natal. The sat conjunct pluto isn't a midpoint. It looks like our midpoints are Mercury Conjunct Sun/Neptune Orb:3 Deg 05 N. Node Conjunct Mercury/Mars Orb:4 Deg 27 Sun Conjunct Mercury/Neptune Orb:4 Deg 08 Pluto Opposition Venus/Mars Orb:1 Deg 05 Uranus Opposition Venus/Pluto Orb:1 Deg 55 Sun Conjunct Mars/Saturn Orb:3 Deg 16 Mercury Conjunct Mars/Saturn Orb:2 Deg 34 Neptune Conjunct Mars/Saturn Orb:4 Deg 17 N. Node Conjunct Mars/Neptune Orb:1 Deg 02 Neptune Conjunct Mars/Pluto Orb:0 Deg 57 Neptune Conjunct Jupiter/Uranus Orb:0 Deg 22 Saturn Conjunct Jupiter/Neptune Orb:2 Deg 10 Mars Conjunct Uranus/N. Node Orb:1 Deg 46 I don't know, the composite mentions deception a lot it makes me want to run. IP: Logged |

There have been times where I had perfect synastry with someone, but they were a complete jerk and we didn't get along at all! Other times, the synastry had all of the traditional "abusive" aspects and we got along very well. No abuse whatsoever. Synastry can only show so much. A lot depends on a person's choices and how life has affected them. I would say to keep an eye out for red flags. If this guy shows any sign of abuse, dump him immediately. Never stick around thinking you ca change him. You can't. IP: Logged |

Thanks Astra that's really good advice.Your both absolutely right, the composite charts can only go so far and it really depends on the individual person. I'm just drawn to him and am trying to figure him out bc he's just so intriguing. Its probably the pluto side coming out. One composite says its a very loving rels and another one (from same company highlights control and illusion issues :P IP: Logged |
