Does anyone have any experience with Sun conjunct Saturn in synastry or composite? HOw did it manifest?

I've had plenty of experience with Sun SQUARE Saturn, which I didn't like much. There were always lots of limitations, criticism, and the relationship was unable to get off the ground.

Please share your experiences with the conjunction.

I had this aspect with a former best friend. In my opinion the conjunction in my case was worse than a square. Too restrictive.

I get along great with Leo Suns and Moons! Dated and lived with one for 7 years. I am a Cancer Sun with Saturn in Leo but conjunct (out of sign) my Sun. My room mate is a Leo Sun and one of my best friends is a Leo Sun. Sometimes they can be too into themselves but I think that's funny so I just leave them be. I know THEY think Cancers can be too cold sometimes which might be true.
