I have indeed come into contact with most of my romantic interests through group-related things, the web/media, as well as through some volunteer/service work. I think meeting significant romantic interests through work/service could be because of my Desc-ruler Uranus in the 6th house too... IP: Logged |

I think the way it played out for me is:Ruler of Descendent, placed in Virgo; my motivation was Service. Of course, the Stellium has much to do with it, Leo's (out-of-Sign Conjunction.) IP: Logged |

My descendant is in Cancer.My dad and my favorite cousin (who's more like a sister to me) are both July Cancer Suns, one week apart from each other. The nurtiring and acceptance I get from them is the best feeling ever. When they retreat into their shell, I'm a bit bereft without their presence. However, I do have a friend whose Cancer Sun conjuncts my DSC axis, who pulls out of me conflicting reactions. When he is being tender, friendly and even affectionate, the warmth and fuzzyness I get is awesome. Makes me feel very good. When he does anything that can be read as a romantic or even a sexual move, I'm not happy about it: he comes off as too intense, too consuming and too forceful to me. My Earth Sun and Asc is not comfortable with it. So, amicably or even friendship wise, I love Cancers. Romantically? Yeah, I don't think so.  IP: Logged |

I have a Scorpio stellium in my 6th house (Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Pluto) along with a Scorpio Descendant and Scorpio is the ruler of my 7th house. I also have mars in Sagittarius on the cusp. I attract a lot of Scorpios and Tauruses! I am insanely attracted to Tauruses.. I am not really attracted or impressed by another Scorpio these days. It's kind of like looking at myself so there's really no mystery. Plus, I already know abd understand the Scorpio depth and it's kind of cliche and boring. Scorpios are too emotional (Yes I am also referring to myself), especially the Scorpio men! I mostly, if not always, attract Scorpio men and they're whole mysterious, bad boy image is so predictable and boring. No one is going to hold your hand because you're emotional. All humans have emotions! This goes for the many Scorpio moon people I know too. I'm just not impressed. Maybe it's my moon in Libra, who knows.. IP: Logged |

I do really love a prominent Mars in my guys, though I don't think I've ever even known any male Aries - no more than as an acquaintance, at least. Sometimes I joke they don't have any male rams where I live  I just don't run into them.Though I do like Mars in Aries, they're too quick for me - it tends to be more of a "coming back for each other" thing than really ongoing. Sun or Moon-harsh aspect Mars shows up a LOT in guys I'm attracted to. Like it in female friends as well - they really are my mirror and complement me well. Can't have enough female friends with this sign! I have Mars in the 11th conjunct Mercury, giving me some attraction to Aquarius and Gemini as well. I'm an air void, so I'm so attracted to airy, talkative guys, but I often end up being too serious and emotional for them. Some house systems bump Mars into the 12th and I do relate to that description a lot. I love the sweet, artistic guys who have a lot of compassion and are quite vulnerable. So am I. As for aspects, too many to mention! My Mars aspects nearly everything in my chart, so it's hard to filter out the more dominant signs I'm looking for. I think the Mercury one, Pluto, Saturn, Neptune and Uranus are the most important. They're all applying except for Uranus, which is my 5th house ruler. My Mars is in the Scorpio duad, btw.
