I've been noticing every time some one talks about a deep relationship, or someone they can't just get over.

There is h12th synastry.

H12 has a bad rap, per se for secrets unknown and illusions... Etc
Yet it seems to touch a deeper level into the soul.
An indescribable level...

H12 is also known as the " karma" house...
I wonder if since it's also the house of self undoing, that the house person, has to somehow fix/correct something about them selve that they may not even yet realize..
Which in turn results to the deep feelings, until one day (hopefully) it's finally just like bam this is what I need to change about myself... Then , maybe just then the person can let go.

What do you think?

I only have one Virgo I want to be with again. I do not have problems letting go of people who have planets in my twelfth. I see them as spiritually altered by my encounter with them. I have that affect on them so I insist they go on and figure things out on their own so their souls may learn and grow.

In this way yeah I guess it is karmic.

I say learn first, then go on and transform your environment. Seek and fulfill your destiny.

what would this fix/correction involve - can you explain what you mean a bit? like, do you see it as being connected to the planet that falls into the house? or the planet that rules the house? or?

Venus is cosignificator of the 12th. Also the 12th has to do with the loss of a significant other.

In theory I'm thinking fix a personal issue which would vary from person to person, with the help from the planet that activates the persons h12

Hmm interesting theory... I think a big part of the problem with 12th house synastry (when things don't work out) is that the planet person can "see" those areas of self undoing and illusions the house person wants to keep hidden, even from themselves. And I agree it's nothing in particular necessarily. So if the planet person walks away it can seem impossible to get over since not only does the house person feel like it's their fault (for reasons they "should" have been able to control but couldn't), but also the planet person seems to hold the key to understanding their their underlying motivations and flaws...

The tragedy I think is that the bond can be so deep that it'll always be there, and no matter how much fixing one does of the issues unearthed by the planet person, there's no getting rid of that blind spot entirely...

Erm...I just noticed that my husband's Sun is in my 12th house. We have both been deeply spiritually changed by our relationship, but my NN and Neptune are also in his 12th. Weird.
I don't have anything happening in my 12th house, so I often overlook it unless someone has something really noticeable going on there in their chart.

When we did try to separate during our first year, it was horribly painful for both of us. We were separated, but talked on the phone every day until we sorted it all out. It was agonizing for both of us. I'm thankful we made it through that. If we hadn't, our son would never have been born.

We both also have tight Yods in our charts. My Vertex conjuncts the apex of his Yod and his Moon, and his Ceres conjuncts the apex of my Yod and my Saturn (and my asteroid Destinn).
It's weird that I never noticed some of that.

^ Cool "coincidences", Violets.
Isn't it lovely to discover some things like that? Hehe.

You know what's interesting, I actually thought about this very same topic like, a few days ago. 12th house at its best.

I agree with Lioness and FireMoon on this one.

It's very deep and usually ends badly (not always, eh! *wink* @ Violets) but there's like a mental / emotional / spiritual / whatever connection that remains and never truly entirely fades away. It can lessen and even seem to have disappeared, but once you start thinking about it again... it kind of comes back to "haunt" you very easily.

I dunno, it's really weird. Not easy to understand nor explain.

But I know a lot of people experience the 12th house stuff the same way I do, so it's kinda reassuring in a way.

Ah. I just looked at my ex's chart (10 years off and on, and very difficult to get away from each other). A very destructive relationship in many ways, but I see that my Moon was in his 12th. It was harder for him to let go than it was for me, in the end. We haven't spoken, written, or seen each other for years.

Another meaningful relationship that was somewhat similar included the other person with their Moon in my 12th. I don't have his chart, so I don't know if I had any planets in his, but it was hard for both of us to let go. Again, I was the one who eventually cut it off completely.

I wonder about 12th house synastry of long-term couples who stayed married their entire lives...I know that, since I've been with my husband he has stood by me while I dug deep within my own murky waters to gradually become a better person. The ex of 10 years did a little of that, but kind of sabotaged everything at the same time (well, we both did). Interesting.

Ps.
Thanks for the encouragement, Doux.
So far, so good.
