I have come to a conclusion that transiting planet trines to a NN may be useful after all. For example, on a date i met this man with whom i share Uranus-full synastry, transit Uranus trined my NN exact. And this meeting indicated a major positive change in my life, because for everything i have now, i can thank this man, directly or indirectly. It's like Uranus brought it to me, put me on my life path like that, through that trine to NN.

So maybe trines to nodes are useful in synastry also?
