I am curious as to what aspects and placements can lead to open minded people. People who are open to new ideas, new ways of living and are tolerant of people's decisions and desires, such as homosexuality, different religions, different people, people who don't judge based on what they've done and are willing to see everyone's point of view.I would consider myself one of these people. I have a 9th house stellium (Moon and Mercury in Leo, Venus in Virgo and NN in Leo) My parents have tried to pass down their judgemental, introverted ways onto me but I just can't accept it. I don't believe in judging others based on experience and who they appear to be. Everyone is different skin -deep and I know as a person that everyone has a story and it's these sorts of mysteries and deeper meanings that influence me not to judge others. What aspects and placements would you see in these sorts of people? IP: Logged |

it's the Sag/9H/Jupiter/Aqua/11H/Uranus domain, that's for sure.

corny? Like what  Some of the most judgemental people I've met have to be Taurus'. I know someone with a Taurus stellium who literally judges everyone he sees and it just p***** me off it's just not nice. IP: Logged |

Urgh I don't even remember, just thinking about her makes me sick. She would literally pick up on each person in sight. And in the mean time I would be torturing her infinitely in my mind.

definitely the mutable signs.
aquarius can be very open to new ideas, often seeking them out, but can become fixed in their own opinions.as for aspects, i'd think jupiter making positive aspects to mercury.

I don't even consider tolerance as being open minded. You have to be tolerant in this society or you'll be burnt at the stake, ironic huh?
I kinda like it though. I consider open minded individual as someone who can accept new ideas an opinions that counter their own. i think people have mentioned everything astrologically.

I wouldn't say tolerance is being open-minded either, tolerance is accepting something against your own beliefs.Being open minded is more trying to understand another belief or view/perspective, or being open to the concept of them. Western society as a whole doesn't know what the term open-minded means ...  ------------------

Like my 1st house Scorpio Sun (Jyeshta) comes across close-minded and very un-tolerant.But my 2nd house Sagittarius Moon (Purva ashadha) is nyon the definition of open-minded. ------------------

I have a lot of mercurial energy so I tend to be open to new ideas.
Constantly changing my opinions about things if you're logical and persuasive enough I can probably lean to your side.
Most of the the time i find people very unconvincing...I use to be into traditional astrology but after someone told me to stop being so fatalistic and observe the world around me, I too noticed that not negative placements do not always produced horrible results, it seems neutral most of the time depending on how one handles it. I just think its a tactic old astrologers used to scare people into submission.

in my experience, most of the people who have pisces placements in their chart are open-minded, they try to understand where other people's points of view. I find it ironic, that a lot of people who call themselves open minded can't seem to accept that other people have different views/lifestyles. Lol how can one explain to them that their nectar might be another's poison. IP: Logged |

Pisces/Sag/Gem/Aquarius and those who have their Mercury or Sun in 3rd, 9th, 11th or 12th houses. I'd say especially the 9th/11th house placement for Mercury.IP: Logged |

Seconding Uranus. Adding Aquarius.  Sagittarius and 9th house might not always indicate open mindedness, it can also show a stubborn or conservative mind, depending on the aspects. IP: Logged |

I have aqua Venus, Uranus in the 3rd I really don't care about what people look like or what clothes they are wearing ect. The petty things people are usually bothered about I am not. I don't care if your religious or not, I don't care if your a serial killer or not, as long as there is a connection then it's all good (y)IP: Logged |
