Would 9th ruler(jupiter) in 5th indicate love of travel? I ask this because my 9th house is empty and I LOVE traveling. Edit : my 9th is ruled by sag and its ruler jupiter is in my 5th house cancer. 5th house ruler moon is in 12th! IP: Logged |

5th house represents stuff we like doing, hobbies and leisure activities.

Matters of the 5th house are put in the 9th house - meaning, they are expanded.With the ruler of the 9th in the 5th - matters of the 9th house are put into the 5th house of fun and hobbies.

I have Jupiter in Sagittarius in the 5th! In my experience having this placement brings:- A love of travel
- And I love playing games
- A playful/childlike attitude especially in dating (teasing, playful shoves, etc.)
- I've also noticed that this placement brings plenty of "opportunity" in romance, Not necessarily luck. For me, I seem to have a lot of guys who are interested BUT it's up to you to take advantage of when you come across a good guy. Kind of like Quantity vs. Quality, Jupiter in 5th expands the quantity of potential suitors but you make the decision of who's of good quality. I hope that makes sense? I could be wrong though but IME that's what I've concluded about this placement.
I also have Mars and Pluto in Scorpio in the 5th and a Leo Moon.

I look at planet being the what, the sign being the how, and the house being the where. Given this way of looking at things, Jupiter’s expansiveness would impact 5th house concerns…romance, children, hobbies, etc. The sign would color how all of that would look.IP: Logged |
