Interesting question. I say Scorpio because both signs are concerned with power and control. Plus, the signs are sextile which is an indication of compatibility.

I've already given this some thought because I have my Mars in Cap and I've decided that it's really important that my next relationship is with someone with a compatible Mars sign. I've decided that after Mars in Cap, Mars in Scorpio would actually be the best match, at least for me (although it depends on the rest of the chart, of course).

I've wondered about this too

I think scorpio seems like cappy: serious, reserved...

libras like virgos sometimes: judgmental and concerned with aesthetic..

But I don't know if my perceptions of this are related to these signs be close in zodiac wheel.

LOL I know but my Mars in Cap is just not flexible! Is that Cap planets in general or just Mars? It's my only inner planet in Cap.

I'm Cap Mars also and I completely agree with you about Mars compatibility.

Scorpio Mars is by far my favorite Mars -- not just because of its 'reputation' but because they really do get us and we relate to them on very DEEP levels.

If you are just talking about signs, i agree it's scorpio. Capris are goal-driven. Scorpios are power-driven. Their direction is close.

But if you are talking about Mars in Capri and Mars in Scorpio, i don't think they are close.

I can totally see myself falling for someone with Mars in Scorpio. In fact, I already have... back in high school but we never got together. Hmmm, now that I think about it maybe it would be an even better match than Mars in Cap since I tend to like to date people who complement me rather than people who resemble me. Well, I can tell you one Mars placement that's a horrible match - Gemini. That's my ex's Mars sign and it was by far our biggest compatibility issue.

I find Scorpio suns more accepting than Capricorn. Capricorn gives the hairy eyeball more than Scorpio. It's like with Capricorn, there's a probationary period before they've decided you are okay but Scorpio will accept right away and are nice.

Capricorn is a lot like Aquarius imo.

The word I'm looking for is cautious.

A lot of people talk about a special connection between Cap and Scorp... and I can see why. Caps are so attractive *cries*. But then again, they kinda fall in my 8th house & 9th house (secondary DSC).

Scorpios are also very sympathetic and Capricorns are sorta like hmm. They don't want to show their emotions until they are sure. I see a lot of differences between these two.

Once a Capricorn decides someone's okay, they are very loyal and sweet to them.

Then again I have Neptune in Scorp so maybe there's a softer bond between me and them. I generally find them to be opposite of what people post. Scorpio sun and Venus in Scorp. Mars and moon are entirely different beasts :s

Capricorn can be a lot more cruel than Scorpio. I've experienced that with two of them. And so cold! The mood can go icy so fast. Too cold for my warmer planets.

Capricorn is only like that when their feelings are really hurt then they can be very mean spirited. They are warm people when they are with those they trust. I know one in particular who is very good to the people she trusts but she can be kinda mean to the ones she feels undervalues her.

And I agree, Cap is like, super cold unless they trust you (which takes aaaaages). Us Scorps can be pretty outwardly warm.

Sun and Venus Scorpios are less into the jealous moods and obsessive behavior, less concerned with revenge and are really wonderful to know without feeling like they are going to turn on me or get angry over something petty. I think... Moon in Scorpio can be pretty difficult, for sure.
Sun & Venus, not so much.

Mars... Hm. I know tons of people with that one, myself included, and can't say anything definite about it. I'm a crazy person for sure lmao, but can't speak for others.
