To the ones of you who have this aspect: how do you feel about that? would you like to share some experiences in which this aspect had a strong influence?
I have an opposition. I think it's one of the most powerful aspects in my natal chart, though maybe I can't understand it completely, maybe because it's one of the way it works: you don't have a clear perception of yourself and often can't draw boundaries between yourself and the other people and things. I honestly don't realize that this happens, most of the time. It's like always being plunged in everything.IP: Logged |

I have Sun conj Neptune. I think it makes me very empathic on the positive side, but I can get so absorbed in situations and people that I need to retreat from the world every now and then. I certainly need lots of alone time.IP: Logged |

I have Sun sextile Neptune and while it may seem like a weak aspect, I can definitely feel it.I can relate to what both of you said, although it's probably less intense in my case. But then again, I have some other things in my chart that could explain the Neptunian feel (+ I have a Neptune transit at the moment). IP: Logged |

Sun opposition neptune here. As i talked once with DouxReve with the opposition is like you have to find yourself....sometimes maybe you feel your ego is not "defined" or you could feel that you have a lot of things at the same time that at one moment makes you feel i'm this way, but then you see another thing and you think oh ok....but i'm this as well. And you end thinking am i this or am i that....maybe i sound crazy lol i dont know, but the opposition i think gives kind of that feeling, i like to call it neptunian feeling or energy. Aspects with sun and neptune make the person with a piscean ray, its like the stone which changes color. With a specific light you see one color, but then you move the stone or the light changes and it becomes another colour.
I think of course i'm empathic with people and this aspect makes me feel sometimes with low steem, too sensitive weak or that i'm not good enough. Another thing is that people very often come to tell me their things.
Maybe i didn't expressed myself well, maybe i dudn't use the right words, but this is more or less what i think about sun/neptune, but more refering to the opposition.IP: Logged |

I think the reason of this, is that pisces/neptune energy have the power of see all the points of view of a same situation. So this energy makes feel like that, and sometimes it gets blurred. Then, because this energy has this thing, it makes the person feel that, all the different points of view and of course it makes you feel confused. And sometimes maybe you feel a lot how people see you and because of this you understand their "point" of view of you and you start identifiying yourself with that, even if it's only your imagination. I've noticed most celebrities have a significant aspect (conj., opp, and square) with Neptune to the Sun, Asc, or Moon...and I can see why...IP: Logged |

My Sun and Moon square Neptune is so confusing that I don't even know how to describe it. I think the most potent way that it manifests (or used to manifest) in my life is that I never know whether or not people actually like me, or whether they're truly loyal to me. That probably sounds childish, but that's just kind of Neptune's way sometimes, I think.I used to constantly make errors in judgement about whether or not people were attracted to me. If they were, I thought they weren't. If they weren't, I thought they were. That was really embarrassing. I still have a little bit of that with friendships, but not as much. It has also created some serious issues for my self-esteem and ego, which I'll probably be trying to improve until I die. So there's that.
It's like there's consistently something coming to light for me about weird, unconscious hangups that were buried, but have been affecting my actions and behaviors for years. I'm relieved to have the clarity when it's offered, but it can be kind of mind-blowing to know that there have been so many things about myself that I've remained oblivious to (especially considering my Virgo Moon opp Pisces Sun, and the reasonable ability to see my own faults). Anyhoo, yeah. Neptune is a complicated, sometimes nefarious pain, and simultaneously an interesting blessing at times. IP: Logged |
