Topic: Air signs come across as airheads

I noticed this with air signs, I don't know why they play up the ditzy act..Paris Hilton is a good example.
So is Marilyn Monroe. I know a really dumb surfer guy who's an Aquarius sun and Libra moon.. I'm sure it's on purpose. I guess air signs like to keep things light? lol IP: Logged |

I don't know, Kero. Some of the biggest ditzes I've known have actually had strong Pluto. They're supposed to be so insightful and deep..no. They are sure of themselves, though.IP: Logged |

A lot of air signs are like this yes but clearly even the water signs too lol. The dumbest person I know is a triple scorpio and the poor kid is just useless.  we air signs are a different ditzy, we may not have common sense sometimes but for the most part the smartest people in the world have some air aspect going on. I know it's to hide their intelligence.
I use to do it in class so I could avoid people coming to me for help.

My thoughts exactly! I know this one air sign sun guy and I call him an air head all the time. To me he appears to lack common sense from time to time. He gives me some strange advice, like he is not seeing the entire picture and he is not nearly as cautious and practical as I. He doesn't like this quality. When I give him advice, he scoffs at it. He also likes to do everything the difficult way and instructs me to do the same. My Aries descendant says otherwise and does things as quickly and easily as possible. If I don't see a reason to do something, I won't waste my time on it while the air sun I know will do everything a certain way because he read to do it that way. I will sit and think about it and weigh the risks. I went camping last year, for example, and was responsible for my own tent for the first time. I have been before but never had to pitch the tent and all that so I asked him for advice and he told me to pitch the tent in my back yard before camping if I didn't do that, I'd regret it because I wouldn't be able to figure it out after arriving at the campsite, would be lost for hours, blah blah blah. The weather got bad, wind was everywhere, and there wasn't a chance to put the tent in my backyard before my trip so I put the box in my car and took my chances. When I got to the campsite, I was amazed at how incredibly easy it is to construct the tent. I couldn't believe something so utterly simple needed to be rehearsed. It was just so easy to figure out! Haha! Also, when I put the tent away to go home, it was impossible to fold it up like it was when it first came out of the box so if I took it out at home, I wouldn't have been able to scrunch it up and roll to the compact size and I was already cramped for space. So, I am really better off for not wasting time with it in my backyard first. Some people do not need rehearsals, I guess, while some do. He also instructed me to roll newspapers to start the campfire. It was much easier to just tear the paper into shreds and light that way. I used some of his advice, but it needed modifying. I feel it's more ditzy happy and the excitement of being happy makes us get that way. I'm extremely ditzy but also extremely smart, I just so happen to have a crazy scattered brain  I'm sure Paris honestly can't help it because that's who she is. IP: Logged |

Water signs are usually more humble in my experience
they just keep their thoughts to themselves.

I would have to agree. I know everything just because I like to know it all lol. I love people so I never have a hard time with them. I don't have any street-sense unfortunately lol. The easiest people to get along with have a good combination of both, they dont get on your nerves....but they probably won't be winning any awards for supreme intelligence. But thats not what makes someone special so its no loss!
I personally like someone with a little more common sense to help keep me grounded in reality....i have a lot of air so its easy to accidentally float away!

Im not ditzy at all nor do i pretend to be. I have noticed gemini moons to be ditzy.
In high school i was good friends with a gemini girl and she was super ditzy but very smart and funny. We had fun times together.
