I was afraid to look at her chart because I had a weird feeling. Her Moon is an exact square to my Unaspected Venus.

My Unaspected Venus seems to be the most sensitive spot in my whole chart.

Unaspected planets may just be that way.

Her Mars is an exact conjunction with my Moon.

I have not met her yet, but I am upset by this.

Any thoughts?

conjunct her Sun
conjunct her Saturn
opposite her Mars
square her Neptune

Howeer, she is my closest friend for a reason. I appreciate her honesty a lot, even though at times I might not want to hear it.
But direct as she is, she is also sensitive, compassionate and knows me for who I am (and not trying to prject her stuff on me).

And no she has never hurt me in any way, we have never quarrelled, though we have had very honest discussions about different style of behaviour.

The Moon-Mars-opposition looks so ominous, and yet it has never played out in a destructive way (we have known each other for 10 years - it is mainly an email friendship, but we regularly meet up and go on trips together. it is also quite rare that an email friendship lasts this long, and becomes that deep. We still mail each other at least 2-3 times per week. And not the short variety of mails at all. ).

My friend and her husband have Sun-Mars-square as a DW, actually his Sun and aSC is square her Venus-Mars-Pluto, and her Moon.
They love each other so totally, and they discuss EVERYTHING. Nothing being left unsaid.

Well, if she is the soulmate of your son,s he will play a very important role in his life.

You are his mother, so of course you will always be important to him, but maybe, depnding on how close your bond to him is, it will get difficult to share, to know that there is another woman (though on a totally different level) in his life.

It might not be so bad. It depends.

The fact that she does have a planet in aspect to your Venus is a good thing. If she had no planets in aspect to your Venus - then you might have felt disconnected and detached.

The fact that she has a feminine planet - the Moon - in aspect to your Venus is even better.. specially since you are both female so the Moon and Venus are more significant.

Even though it is a square... I doubt it will be a difficult square. Usually Moon/Venus squares and oppositions are not so bad.. The people seem to care about each other a great deal.. There may be some friction, but there is still basic affection for each other.

You said her Mars was in Cancer conjunct your Moon. This means that it is also conjunct your own Mars (or close).
Even if she annoys you at times or seems a bit too forward/aggressive..... her general style, body-language and demeanour will be so familiar to you... that it's unlikely to *really* bother you.
It's easier to get along with someone who has familiar energy because you can easily suss them out. You know the things that would make them feel good and the things that would make them feel uncomfortable.
Since you will both want to get along - it's unlikely you'll tread on each others toes. Cancer Mars puts in extra effort when it comes to family - so you'll both be on your best behaviour towards each other - out of respect.

I was really, really upset because I was feeling how I would feel like an enemy to someone my son really loved.

I was picturing an awful relationship.

It must be hard for you but you must try to relax. I know that piece of advice is never helpful and it can make you want to B**ch slap the dumb out of the son of a B**ch who told you to do it.

Anyway the Moon Venus square isn't so good but maybe the rest of the chart will be good.

The Mars Moon could cause tension or aggression and you may rub each other up the wrong way but if you both get along with each other perhaps a strong bond may be formed.You may have to be direct or try not to drown her in Cancerian emotions.She might also have to learn to become a little more sensitive and considerate to your feelings.

Anyway aren't you getting a little ahead of yourself hasn't he only just met her.
Does he think shes the one ? Even if things haven't got that far yet you owe it to your son and her to get to know her before you write her off.Also try to remain calm and rational she may turn turn out to be a really nice girl so you wouldn't want to ruin your sons potential happiness by letting your negative emotions put a wedge between them.If she turns out to be a ***** then you can sharpen your claws on her.All I would say is try to avoid any relationship with her turning out like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTy8QTAtC3M

Also, see if she is a good match for your son, synastry and composite wise. If she is, then as a mom, I would try to disregard whatever I didn't like about that girl, if she made my son happy and was good for him.

And, from experience, I would be more concerned with hard aspects between Mercury and Mars/Pluto/Saturn, things like that.

All of my parents and in-laws (my husband and I both have step-moms) have their Pholus conjunct my Mars. It really seems to depend on the energy that the Pholus person is working with. If they're working with it negatively, I want to hit them. If they're working with it positively, I feel energized and happy when they're around.

My mom's Moon and Pholus are conjunct with my Mars, and I have some serious Mars/Pluto/Mercury issues with her and my MIL. I don't enjoy their company for very long, and I find them draining to be around.

My step-mom has Mars and Pluto conjunct my Moon, but we absolutely love each other's company. My Mars is square her Moon, and her AC square my Venus, Pluto, and Saturn. But we seem to deal with that energy very well, and there are no hard aspects from Mercury between us. Her Mercury is trine my Sun and sextile my Moon.

Yes,PL. I have talked to her on the computer and she is a doll. I guess I wanted to have a warm relationship and we still may.

Her Sun conjuncts mine at 9 degrees. We have great mercury connections, I think.

I will bring the rest of the aspects back and see what you guys think.
