No. Outer planets on the ascendant make the native skinny. Never fat. Usually benefic planets does. Moon, Venus and especially Jupiter like a said. I know a Virgo with Cancer ASC and Jupiter in the same house. The last time I saw her she was huge. And careless. She seemed to not care her weight and the fact that she wasn't healthy. She didnt care about these things but she was craving for love and admiration. Bleah! IP: Logged |

lol that is surprising her critical virgo sun hasn't stopped her… She must lack some motivational aspects too and has a weak mars?

but is it true about Jupiter in the 1st house? i have that, along with many other planets, and have been told by ppl who didn't see me that i probably have 'over weight' problems....truth is the opposite, i never gain weight (not fat weight at least, muscles are due to add a bit)....even when i eat a lot, i've had more than one person mock me and ask if i'm anorexic or something to... also fit doesn't mean skinny (now i'm just going to recite to you people what this crazy cardio instructor who wouldn't shut up kept telling us in a class once:skinny does not mean healthy, it's a healthy body fat percentage that matters.
think ice hockey players who look huge sometimes but are some of the fittest people around vs skinny models who do not eat much, or follow healthy lifestlyes at all....

Jupiter gravitates to overemphasised features, in a positive context : skinny but healthy, tall but quick and graceful, plump but healthy and strong etc. IP: Logged |

my mother is a scorp, and has a lot of scorp placements….she's fat. not like huge. but unhealthily and unflatteringly so. she's even got some jowls. IP: Logged |

Not many, and I've noticed quite a few anorexics with that sign as well so that it seems Scorpio is more prone to it (but given that anorexia is supposed to be about self-control that's not a big surprise), though I should point out that being thin and being healthy are 2 different things and one is not necessarily the other. That said, would you consider Roseanne Barr fat? But as she says (not sure if this was before or after her tummy tuck): "It's okay to be fat. So you're fat. Just be fat and shut up about it." Most that I've seen are Virgos and Geminis. I have my Rising in Cappy, Moon Libra, and Mars Aries. I work out a lot. I used to work out 5-6 days a week with 2 hours/a day. I'm very conscious with my physical being. Now it's only twice a week. Mostly, because of getting tired after work.

That's hilarious! One girl I used to be very close to, but she manipulated and betrayed me badly was a triple scorpio.... and weight 300+ pounds!!!!  I am surrounded by Scorpio women otherwise (for some reason, I attract them as friends... probably my Uranus singleton in Scorp... I am an Aqua Sun/Libra Risng/Cappy Moon) and I'll give you that they're all pretty much thin and universally attractive, hehe. FITNESS!!!! IT IS MY LIFE!!!! I have worked as a personal trainer for 6 years, done gymnastics, competed in fitness and figure and olympic weightlifting. I'm obsessed I have always attributed it to my Sun/Mars conjunction in 5th house/aqua... also opposed Jupiter in Leo, all within 1 degree. I also have a 1st house Pluto. Nothing in the 6th house. Well, I do have my SN in the 6th. Pisces is intercepted in the 6th in my chart, so Aquarius rules the 6th and Uranus is a singleton in my chart in the 2nd house. no taurus or cancer, mars in leo.
it's even extra interesting because her moon, pluto and uranus are in virgo. looking at her chart, i guess it's probably her pisces jupiter conjunct chiron, square sun and mercury, opposite uranus and pluto. IP: Logged |
