Ok...they only move approximately 1° every 72 years, but when i was born...

Rigil Kent (α Centauri) was in my 3rd house conjunct my IC; now it's in my 4th.

Debeb (α Cygni) was in my 6th house conjunct my DSC; now it's in my 7th.

A star with a curious history is Thuban (α Draconis). Several thousands of years ago it was the Pole Star (now α Ursę Minoris Aa) and was also much brighter than it is now. It is no longer the brightest start in Draco, so its 'α' designation is anachronistic. It was once called the King of this World. Now, we'd have to say the former King of this World.

The thing is, Thuban is conjunct my ASC in my 1st house. I'd think it quite auspicious to have the Pole Star conjunct your Asc...but the former Pole Star? Of note my South Node is in my 1st house. How the mighty have fallen.

Ok...I'm not sure what any of this means, but it's food for thought in the learning experience.
