Could someone help me understand the significance of midpoints in synastry?I'm new to this the concept of midpoints, and just calculated the midpoints for myself, this guy I've been seeing, and our composites.
The two aspects that I've been able to pull from them are:
My Mars/Venus midpoint closely conjuncts his Ascendant. I assume this means I find him very attractive? (I do.) Is there another way to read this?
The midpoint of our Moons (22 Virgo 29) is almost DEAD opposite my Sun (22 Pisces 56). I don't know what to make of this at all. What's especially interesting to me here, is that Virgo is almost entirely absent in my chart. It falls in my 12th house, but that's it. His chart has no Pisces or Virgo influence anywhere! So what could an aspect like this mean? I'm especially curious given that Virgo is new territory for me.
What kind of midpoint aspects have you had in relationships? What influence did they have? I'm interested in composite midpoints in general, and would love to hear some anecdotes.
