So I know this guy who for some reason, I pick up a very paternal influence from. I don't see him in that way (he is my age, very attractive, charming and everyone likes him--it's undeniable!), but with me he is very watchful --he examines me (when he thinks I am not aware)and he will watch to make sure that "everything is OK." We don't have a close relationship, but in large gatherings he watches me from afar, or very closely. For instance, if I am a part of a conversation and I don't understand something, he'll gesture and make sure to explain the point.I checked out his chart, he is FULL of air---gemini moon, venus (at o degrees of aquarius), mars, pluto and saturn in Libra with a sun in pisces. I think he has an aries asc because he brusque, assertive-loves sports and mentions quite a bit about being "a man" or being "male" Where might this "protective" vibe be coming from? To me it seems very earthy... I should also add that his moon, eros and north node conjuncts my ascendant in gemini--could all of this be aspect related? What are your throughts? IP: Logged |

I think it's because of his Moon conjuncting your ASC. You bring out his "protective" instinct.IP: Logged |

Uh, yeah, Moon/NN conjunct ASC is pretty heavy business, all right.
What does his Mars do? Natally and in your synastry?
I associate protective instincts with Moon/Mars. Aries Moon, Cancer Mars, 4H Mars, and so on. ETA: ASC/Moon could probably do something similar in natal. Not sure. IP: Logged |

Anymon and DouxThanks for replying. I looked up that aspect and it was an interesting read to say the least. Have you had that aspect with anyone? Doux--as far as other aspects, we don't have any moon or mars contacts--although we have mars conjunct pluto. His moon opposes my sagittarian planets-- venus, jupiter, neptune and uranus... He has (gemini) moon trine mercury, mars, saturn, and pluto in libra..... IP: Logged | |
