Yes, I think so. 8th house stuff usually indicates attraction IMO. I know I'm always attracted to women with planets in libra (my 8th house cusp) or women who make aspects to my Venus ( 8th house ruler).

Not so much attraction, but compatibility in sexual regards. Depending on aspects onto this conjunction of course.
If your Saturn and his Uranus squares it there might not be so much compatibility after all.

EDIT:
I always like to see a conjunction or trine, maybe even a sextile between the 8th house rulers in synastry though; cause sometimes you can be tremendously attracted to a person but the actual sex might be blah.
I suppose with 8th house rulers in intense harmonious close contact the chances are hight, this will not happen, but you will enjoy each other, in a deep way (as it is 8th and not 5th house here).

yeah I agree 8th house influence brings fascination.
8th house rulers in conjunction could suggest wanting to get to the core of each others psyche. So yes I bet there's great chemistry.
I like 8th house stuff, it's interesting.
have fun penetrating everything, though after the intrigue is over I hope there are other factors that keep you two together.
