Anyone have any experience with this? I have neptune residing in my 12th natal but it's not set to be in close conduction for a while. Curious to hear your thoughts and insight. IP: Logged |

I didn't do so well with it, but it hit personal planets of mine, and a T-square - all harshly - so that would probably explain it. I've heard that it can be a tough transit, but I've also read comments from people who were fine with it.IP: Logged |

I had Saturn transiting my 12th house from oct 2009 till october 2012. Probably the worst period of my life. I felt like in prison. Can't say I'm better with Saturn in 1st conjunct ASC. I lost a lot of weight but something is different for sure.IP: Logged |

I felt that way, as well. I didn't lose weight, though. I feel totally different, and not all in a good way. Mostly in a bad way. I've been in the, "I'm drowning, not waving" club for a few years now. IP: Logged |

quote: Originally posted by TempuraNostril: Saturn has been transiting my twelfth house for the past year and a half, it has been quite an experience, psychologically speaking. For me, Saturn'a transit has been one of extreme restructuring of my psyche, both on a conscious and subconscious level. My twelfth house (with the mirroring sixth house) is the biggest house in my chart, consisting a spectrum of three signs, Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius, so there has been a change of "themes" so to speak over the course of this transit. The first six months or so I remember noting a complete enlightenment in regards to themes concerning my relations to others and how I interact with others on a subconscious level, that I had never been aware of until that time. My north node was also transiting my first house during this time (and had conjunct my natal north node earlier that year), so major themes concerning how I treat myself in relation to others come to the forefront. When I say 'enlightenment', however, I don't mean a welcome one necessarily. This transit has been a very bigger strain on my ego, and it's evolvement, and it's still going and will be for quite sometime. Towards the end of last year it moved into Scorpio and the restructuring shifted to matters in relation to others on an intimate level. Matters regarding my sexuality and it's relation to other people have come into the limelight, and how it either breaks it makes me. Since then my saturn has squared my natal saturn and is now currently conjunct transiting mercury in the twelfth, and in the next year I will see this transit at its height when saturn conjunct a my natal pluto. In conclusion, this transit is very much about cleaning out your psychological closet. Repressed memories, long forgotten secrets and demons will come to the surface of your consciousness, leading you into a struggle with your ego. Your ego will not enjoy this transit and you will find it quite difficult at times, because so much about yourself that you were never before aware of will be thrown into the harsh judging hands of Saturn. You will probably find that you will resort to places (institutions) or sources of religion, spirituality or medicine as a means to help you understand the effects of this transit. For me it has been astrology spiritually speaking and other places of 'asylum' (which I will not elaborate on in this post). It could be therapy or a psychiatrist. Or your could revive your faith in the bible and your church. This transit can leaving you searching for faith in one of these places since it can lead you to losing faith in yourself. Like I previously said, this transit is about a deep psychological restructuring that will be so and barbarous for you in the long run, leaving you better equipped for Saturn's eventual transit into the first house.
Can I just say saturn is transiting My 12th ATM and this is exactly how I feel... IP: Logged |

I can somewhat relate to and foresee a lot of what you've all mentioned happening. My sun is at the end of the 11th so Saturn has been sitting right on top of that for a while, not too bad but not fun either. The day (literally) that saturn hit the beginning of my 12th I found my live in boyfriend of six years profile on an adult dating site (the gross kind). Since then there has been a weight on me in regards to so much in my life that needs to change. Almost like I'm wading through mental sludge trying to get clear in my head so I can start planning positive changes. Being 45 and divorced, the infidelity doesn't surprise me, I didn't freak out or make threats, I just told him I need time (partially true but it's not to mend the relationship). Too old and too tired to play games. It's been a trigger for major self doubt and depression that I have kept hidden from everyone. It's like I know instinctively it's time to clean (a really messy) house. I'm kind of dreading what will happen when saturn is resting on top of my natal neptune which is located in my 12th. Anyway, thanks you for your insight, it's nice to know I'm not alone. IP: Logged | |
