I don't know much about reading charts and interpreting...I am fairly new to astrology and this community has been very helpful. I am trying to find out what my daughter needs from me as a mom because I can feel a disconnect between us and she gets a bit emotional at the drop if a hat. I feel like I don't understand her...and as her mom, I need to understand her. It was pointed out that she has sun in ole opposition to her moon in Aquarius. I started researching and the effects of this opposition seems scary and really concerns me...as it apparently concerns her perception of her mother (me!) and father which in turns causes an internal struggle and a constant pull between her wants and needs. The article suggest finding the answer to this struggle and/or a path of relief in which to focus by finding the planets that are sextile or trine the moon and sun in opposition. And also the houses and their planets. I hope I am understanding all this correctly and I'm wondering if someone could please give me their knowledge. This is her placements in that regard. Sun in leo trine Pluto in the XII house in Sag Moon in Aquarius sextile Pluto Sun in leo sextile mid heaven in Libra Moon trine mid heaven But she also has sun leo in opposition to Neptune in house II in Sag and moon opposition Saturn in house VIII in Leo Honestly, I don't know what all this means but I'm assuming that oppositions aren't very favorable placements and I would really like to understand. Could I possibly find some relief to her sun opposition moon in Pluto in XII house in Sag? What do the other oppositions mean? I already get that the moon op sun aspect causes an internal struggle which causes her to doubt herself and wonder who she is. I'm her mom and it's my responsibility to help her find out who she is and how to use her strength and overcome her weaknesses, but if have to learn first. Any help? Thanks everyone! IP: Logged |

Hi ProudLeo!!!! Well, first of all i want to say you, don't be afraid of the oppositions, i'm a person who has a lot of oppositions in my chart i have sun opposition neptune and saturn and i tell you, it creates tension, ok? The person in question would have to do a work innerself to understand this, i still learning about my oppositions, but, don't be afraid of them because this aspects gives knowledge and you can learn A LOT about it and gives movement to the person. Just see it as experiences that your daughter has to learn, there's no perfect chart, she came here to this world to live certain things, and if it is the way her soul has to evolutionate, don't worry, just be comprenhensive about that and just let the things be the way it has to be. In concrete with the sun opposition moon, there's like, mm how to explain it.. The energy that her father (sun) gives to your daughter could be different as the way she sees you, her mother (moon) and the energy you give to her. I have moon in aquarius as well, and this is a rebel moon, if you feel that "disconnection" i think it could be because of this, her emotions, she feels in an aquarian way, as it's a extrange way, believe me. Sun in 12 house, is complicate in the way that this house is all unconcius it could be like a blurred or complicate relation with the father, but your daughter has sun in leo, so her father would give her confidence in her and makes she shine. I will think if i can tell you something more, i hope my answer helps you in anyway. Just don't get obssesed with that, let her be her, and at the same time try to be her best friend, moons in aquarius sees the mother as a friend as well
