I have venus oppose chiron. It's not that bad. I tend to gravitate towards people who have some sort of pain, but at the same time I want to run away from them. In situations where people tell me about their pain, I usually give them a few awkward pats, really don't know what to do or say.

What's it like having oppositions? Maybe it's more intense with mercury because that's a personal planets.
I also have chiron sextile ascendant, and sun/moon/mercury.

I suppose healing others through my affection and love sounds much more easy, and I can sort of sniff out those who are in emotional distress and try to be a friend to them...

Yeah, me too. I have always noticed that.
When someone is nice to the other person, they either start to walk all over them or use them.

That's why I'm unsure if I should continue being the "nice guy", or start to be rather cold and less caring because it's seriously not working out or paying to be nice.
