I have come across a chart of a politician, he is well known here, very dedicated, able to speak to people in the way they are hooked after his ideas, acts as an inspiration and really IS a man of idea and word. I also forgot to mention - he is very conservative, despite Sun conjunct Uranus, Venus conjunct Uranus... Has a family with 3 kids, despite his young age - 30.

Well, he has 7 (!) planets in 6th house!

Sun conjunct Mercury 3
Sun conjunct Venus 5
Sun conjunct Jupiter 9
Sun conjunct Uranus 2
(Mercury conjunct Venus 2)
(Mercury conjunct Uranus 2)
(Venus conjunct Uranus 4)

+ further away from the stellium above:

Saturn conjunct Pluto 1

His Moon in 11th, trine Jupiter exact, makes very good for politics...

But could his dedication to serve ideas, not money or else, could be indicated by this large concentration of planets in 6th house? Something sort of serving i guess. And 11th house Moon & 9th house Mars give him the ability to lead people and gather them after him?

Any insights would be appreciated..

BTW, ASC Gemini, Moon Pisces, Sun Saggitarius.

If the ruler of 6th house falls in the 10th yes. Or if you have a strong 10th house. 10th house is good for things related to public therefore politics. Mercury and Mars are good in 10th house. Mercury especially in Leo. To be a good politician you need a strong Mercury ( to convince people that you can do some things). Mars is good for agressive publicity and persuasion. 6th house is the house of work. Daily work. Has nothing to do with career. 10th house is for career. Also MC is important for politics. A MC in mutable signs is the best. Mutable= mobility, adaptability, formation, foundation.
Obama has a MC in Scorpio with Pluto in 7th. He has a great influence over people especially those with whom he has partnerships. He can creat partnerships without doing anything. His word is like law for everyone else. No wonder why he elected for the second time.

Yes, that is very interesting, indeed. This particular politician's MC is Aqua, and Uranus falls into this 6th house, conjunct Sun, Venus and Mercury. I wouldn't exactly call him influential in terms of power, but people do follow him truly, out of the ideas.

In my opinion as an astrologer, MC in mutable signs are the best. Steve Jobs had a Gemini MC and he was a genius. What he created nobody ever will create. He had MC in Gemini with Mercury RX in 5th house. Mercury RX craves for perfection and Steve Jobs wasnt a exception. No product of his would see the light if it wasnt perfect. And in 5th house? The ART and passion becomes WORK in the most dedicated way.

As do I.

I will post a quote I ran across this morning that made a lot of sense to me.

SDragon:

"Saturn in 6th relates to everyday living and not work necessarily (10th house is more about career and the public face) - but the structures that need to be put into place to survive; discipline, duty, responsibility, work, etc."

Now, he was talking about Saturn, but that struck a real chord with me as I have many Planets in the Sixth House. It made more sense than anything I have heard regarding this HOuse.

I'm not debating you, i'm just trying to figure out what in his chart makes him so authoritative and people-leading in a good way.

11th house is the house of friends. Politicians have everything but friends. they are playing the game of thrones in the end.

While I appreciate the metaphor, *very* , the politicians are seldom the puppeteers; the power lies behind the throne, in H12. There's plenty of H10-12 action in the chart of French dynasties, for example.

H11 is good for swaying the masses.
