Depends on how close you are to your family, I suppose, and the different dynamics you have going on with each and every one of the family members.

You could act more Lunar with someone you're very close to, more Venusian with someone who you relate to on a more superficial level... The ASC usually comes out in new or unfamiliar situations or when interacting with people you don't feel very close to.
Although, it's completely possible to "act" like your ASC even with very close people.
