What transits/aspects/planets?I heard somewhere Jupiter is responsible for meeting the one. I have Jupiter in the 12th and I do attract foreigners and I'm attracted to them, do you think this is the way I'll meet "the one" through foreign endevours? My Venus also trines Jupiter. I've always desired to marry a foreigner. IP: Logged |

Hmmm.... my Jupiter is in 5th house in Pisces. My love is a Pisces Sun and I see him as The One. And he's a foreigner. In which sign is Juno? If its in Sagittarius then you can see why you love so much foreigners and that you will end up with one.IP: Logged |

Maybe. In which house is Juno placed? What does the ruler of your 7th house say? Where is Venus placed? Many aspects must be checked in order to see if one is gonna marry a foreigner. Juno in Libra does not indicate a foreigner. Sun conjunct Jupiter either. Only if they are placed or make connections with 9th house. IP: Logged |

The One is an interesting concept. I bought into it rather heavily (hello, Libra Sun-Pluto much?) in my adolescence. Now in my thirties, it's more like a long relay race with alternating players. I'll run this mile with one man, then get to the end of that, change, take off with another, get to the end of that, find that the first is back, so we'll take the next lap, then it's the second, and so on.This started happening in 2000 with the advent of what appeared to be some very heavy karma, involving several people. Since then, that karma has sort of 'spread' to include many others; almost as if we're resonating to a particular 'signature' - and we all have roles we play. They're not necessarily strictly defined, either. They can switch. Now, I'm married and polyamorous. It allows me to 'run the relay' a lot more easily, knowing when it's the end of one leg, and seeing who's got the baton the next go-'round. Since 2010, it's really been limited to 3. Potentially, 4, but he was curiously one of my very first boyfriends. We share an intense death karma; I helped him through a very difficult period in our youth. We went on to do our thing, but we never completely lost touch. It's less a lack of resolution between us and more a sort of pact to be there, helping each other through various transformative periods. And we certainly do that. So. The One? No such thing for me. Though your reality may vary. And I'd never in ANY way discount the intensity of the experience regarding these men. There are simply more than one. It's like having The One many, many times over, experiencing and re-experiencing those initial feelings of intense love, infatuation, following by bonding, attachment, and resolution. It's like a Groundhog Day form of love, I suppose. IP: Logged |

That's basically the practise of rectification. It can work. Maybe not for everyone, but it can work.

Of course it works. I already did that several times. Of course, I did it to people I know. IP: Logged |

It's entirely dependent upon the skill level of the astrologer and the specificity - AND veracity - of the reported events. IP: Logged |

@IndigoDirae, what is (natal and transit) Uranus doing in your chart? I am curious. I think I already know but it would be nice to get a confirmation. ------------------ http://www.lightofthestars.com Every Chart has a Gift IP: Logged |

Definitely. Sag on 7th house cusp is another big indicator of marrying a foreigner. IP: Logged |

Transits, I'll have to look into. It's been repelling my natal Saturn all year. Now, Saturn is my 5R, not 7R, though. Neptune, my 7R, has been opposing my natal Venus, along with Chiron. Been a rough ride. Natally, Uranus is strong. Less than 1° conjunct my Moon, loosely conjunct (9°) and parallel my chart-ruler (Mercury). 3H. There's only a sextile to Neptune, 4H 20° Sag. No foreigners, but LOTS of lunar Sag men, and I live a few blocks from the ocean - and am in the film industry. So, that's how it seems to be operating. Very creative - and spiritual - area. Moon is my 11R, which I believe is a secondarily sexual house? I can't recall. 24° Scorpio. The 'a-HA!' moment for me was seeing my Lilith (17° Scorpio) loosely conjunct my Merc, Moon, and Ura - AND parallel Merc and Moon. I'm very much a Lilith type. For me, I'm in control or it's a no-go. Expecting loyalty where I've experienced a life of betrayal is just not happening. But I'm VERY up-front about it. So, the combination of Lilith AND Uranus seems the cincher for me. BML is also conjunct my Sun-Pluto. Less about being 'non-committal', I think, and KNOWING where it is I have to go, and just not having the patience nor time for societal BS to impede my destination - or destiny. It's all parallel Destinn, too. 3H. 19° Scorpio, semisextile Sun.

My SO (who of course I consider "The One" ) is a foreigner. I have jupiter and uranus in Sagittarius in the 7th house. Moon in 9th house. His moon in Sagittarius too Just checked Juno which is in Aries in 11th house but I don't think that means anything in my case. IP: Logged |

I'm not sure of the universal aspects/patterns, but looking at he charts between me and my husband, I'd say that it was indeed in the stars that we are spposed to be married to each other lol. One of the most epic patterns are the many DWs with the asteroids Briede/Groom/Boda/Union.Thought I wouldn't depend on astrology to tell who's the one for us, at least not when astrology is still yet to be perfected. I prefer to remain focused on reality and see by myself if a relationship is really meant to be. IP: Logged |
