Starlight and Peach: 12th House is what we sacrifice to the world, so maybe you'll bring truth to the surface through your work?

I have Pluto in my 7th House. I transform through my partnerships and I require my partner to allow me to transform them.

It's not a nice or easy process.

I've also noticed that potential partners that just give in to me are really boring. I need someone to resist through secrecy, fear of loss of control, etc or I don't find any enjoyment in staying with them. I live to dig into them and pull out all of their emotional trauma.

Side note: Aquarians don't like this.

Oh God...
I have Pluto 1st so I'm all about control of self. (It's a goal, not an achievement! LOL)
I'm not trying to make this come out suggestive at all, I hope it's not taken that way.
If it were you and I.... I don't know how that would turn out. Could be scary... or could be amazing. It's so opposite.

I'm honest to a fault. I think I have the capacity to allow people to be in touch with their darker truths and work through them positively. In my day-to-day life, I can touch on serious stuff with more strength and ease than others. But it's never to pry. I am all for people being honest with themselves so they can grow

Sometimes it slips into work, but it's not my work

Peach and DeepFreeze....how far is your Pluto's from your AC?

I relate to both your posts, im wondering if thats because my pluto is so close on the cusp of 1st....i love helping ppl get in touch with their darker side, i feel a gift to give someone is to love them, all of them and genuinely accept them even when they are not at their best or i know things they are dont like about or are uncomfortable with about themselves....but i do the same with myself...i want honesty and to dig as deep as possible and transform whatever is there for the better!

Gabby - Mine is a 4 degree orb. Pluto at 9 degrees which according to Darkstar Astrology is a powerful degree. Either way, that's the orb.
And 4 degrees the other way from my Anti-Vertex.

It's internal. I just always strive for improvement. My focus may change. A different exercise, different diet. Practicing to be more patient, friendly, accepting, etc etc. I'm just never satisfied. Not that it's bad. I just won't settle. I need to be going forward which sometimes also means dropping things along with picking up new things.

In the last 10 years? Hmmmm.... I just get better and better at self-control. Ultimately, that's the goal. To behave how I want to, react how I want. Not just to control my actions but to control my feelings, my thoughts, everything. Every aspect of myself, I want control. So in the last 10 years, I've been gaining more and more control. Now I need to choose the positive instead of negative. Sometimes even if angry, I've chosen to be.

Music? Well, I do listen to rap.
In my soul however, deep down. I listen to electronic music with few to no lyrics. Some do have lyrics like "Trifonic". Others no, like Sixtoo. I find that these can express my mood and leave the details to me. Or I can try to change my mood, but the thoughts, details, imagination is all mine. Whatever I want to think about. Sometimes I kind of play a music video in my head along with the song. Stuff similar to what NIN is famous for.

Thank you for sharing! Nice post. I especially relate to you about self-improvement.

I would say yes, it seems 1st housers can survive anything....usually come out on top to! Issue is, you have to endure a lot and learn a lot from it before you get to that place! It seems we are given so much to deal with from the day we are born. We get the immediate crash course in life the day we enter life, but the school of hard knocks teaches more efficiently than any other school!
My son also has a loose pluto/AC conjunction, but his is on the 12th house side....we both almost died during his birth, i went into shock followed by a coma for 3 days.
He had 3 near death experiences before he 2 years old! He hasnt had any more since then! Whew!

Biggest change over the past several years, learning to love and respect myself, finally realizing im a person to, finding happiness inside me, not thinking i need someone else to make me feel ok and happy....those are the biggest changes!

Music has been an evolution in the past 10 years.....i love music and feel it in my soul, i use music to help me draw out emotions, i used it to force myself to feel the anger i wanted to ignore, it helped me get in contact with it and eventually release it.
For awhile, i loved the dark, sadistic, suicidal, 'im worthless and everyone hurts me' type music, Korn, Type O Negative, Marilyn Manson...the darker the better!
Then as i got a bit more healthy and purged some pain, i started getting angry about what had been done to me and i switched to the dark angry, 'i hate you' music, NIN, Seether, Rob Zombie.....now, i prefer to listen to audio books! LOL

Thank you for your response! And wow, you & your son are definitely survivors.
I'm glad to hear that you both are in a great space now.

I came across a description for that placement! They're actually all there for the houses and aspects at: http://www.scribd.com/doc/31151867/12/Natal-Pluto-in-12th-House-5-Jeff-Green-contd

quote:
1. The desires inherent in Pluto translate into a personal will to actualise thosedesires. In the context of the Twelfth House, this process teaches the individual thathe or she is a co-creator of relaity in relationship to the Ultimate Source. The powerto actualise these dreams and fantasies is thus linked to visualisation and belief. If the individual believes in the dream or fantasy enough, the power of visualisation andaffirmation intrinsic to Pluto in the Twelfth House, it will come true.2. The fantasies can teach the indiviudal about the nature of his or her dreamillusions and delusions. An important point to remember is that these dreams andfantasies can seem very real to these individuals either as they are creating them intheir consciousness, or as they are actually being lived out. Even to an outsideobserver, the actualisation of these separating-type dreams and fantasies that theTwelfth House Pluto individual creates will seem very real. An observer would behard-pressed to see or understand that these 'realities' are actually based on illusionsand dreams because the individual has succeeded in actualising them: he or she isliving them out. As such, they constitute the basis of the person's actual or concretereality. They seem so real. Most Twelfth House Pluto individuals have a difficult time recognising the actualbasis of their 'dream realities' because they are living them. They are hard torecognise because the motives and fears that create these desires and realities arequite unconscious. Yet, because these desires are separating by nature, and are notthe result of a conscious direction that is based on an inner relationship with theSource, the realities that are created are destined to fail in some way. The dreamballoon will pop, and reality will strike. These individuals then confront the fact thatthis 'reality' was only a dream, the fantasy only a fantasy, and that, in the end, theyare left standing on the precipice alone, without meaning, contentment or innerpeace. The need in all Twelfth House Pluto individuals is to align their personal wills anddesires with the will and desires of the Source. When this does not occur, then thatwhich is created through separating and egocentric desires will collapse at somepoint. This emotional shock intends for the individual to realise the nature and basisof his or her dreams, illusions and fantasies.

Thanks SocialGraffiti. In my experience, Pluto hinders manifestation while in twelve, at least conventional manifestation. Perhaps, on the astral plain, it facilitates it?

Gabby I read your post and I relate to it a lot as well.
I'm sorry you went through that when you gave birth to your son. Thank god you both are okay. My mom had a similar experience with her first born (my older brother) idk her rising but my big brother is a Scorpio rising too.

He has moon conjunct Pluto in libra in his 12rh but his Pluto is 11 degrees from his ASC

Suppression of the planets natural energies?
Secret enemies that are really powerful or intense?
Unknowing of your own depth, power and intensity?
A double life?

I can only imagine what my life will look like 10 years from now, because i never would have expected my life to look like what it does today, 10 years ago, its a completely different life than it was then, absolutely nothing is the same! It gets better, so thats good even though its not exactly easy or always fun.

I can relate to this too. I have pluto on MC and it obviously square my ASC/DSC axis and opposes IC. At least I like changes, I'm glad that I have venus in 8th house!
