Topic: surprises or seems wrong in your chart

I am irrevocably sold on astrology but sometimes it does seem there are things which don't match. I've expected to have an aspect (or asteroid) prominent which isn't. Or, everything seems to match until considering vedic/sidereal- then they seem to match more. I don't think people are rigorous enough sometimes - even if we believe in it, i think we should still question it to understand how they work. So, is there anything which doesn't make sense in your chart? Or didn't until considering some other factor. I thought i would have penelope the asteroid prominent in my chart because i'm always waiting in relationships and have to have belief. But then I did think although I wait I actually don't wait too patiently - it's a theme but probably not natural to me. So still trying to figure that out. IP: Logged |

I think charts are always right...even if there are apparent contradictions and opposites, they still boil together and work at once in the one person, I just think it's a matter of learning how to see it all together.  IP: Logged |

I tried the vedic charts but it doesn't seem right. The readings are more precise but fit my western chart more.I can't understand asteroids. Too many. Something's bound to hit someone's chart. IP: Logged |

well, i do think i get overwhelmed because im relatively new to it - the draconic, the sidereal etc i;ve perhaps read into too soon. but i saw one thread where people discussed ironies in the chart. like having leo strongly and being a hiding type of person. of course, some other aspect probably accounts for that but i still think things that seem wrong get too quickly excused. like i say i am sold on this and i didnt really want to focus on things to do with whether the natal chart is right or wrong. more a devils advocate to weigh up aspects.
