Both are in Gemini and in the second house (orb = 1 deg). Composite Moon also (widely) conjuncts composite chiron (orb ~ 6 degrees). To top it off, moon and north node gets an opposition from uranus in 8th. IP: Logged |

Doux posted a really great article about NN placements in synastry in general, but I need to get on my laptop or find the thread in order to post it. I found it really interesting (and accurate), so I'll try to get it on here as soon as I can.

i have it w someone, but we are not in a relationship. the composite moon squares chiron and conjuncts NN and the asteroid valentine. the goal of the connection seems to be emotional nurturing and healing. would love to hear others' impressions.IP: Logged |

thanks Violets. We have a NN Ascendant conjunction in Syntastry (my Asc), as well as my NN conjunct his sun/moon midpoint.jjj, we have a chiron conjunct with composite moon, wide orb though. I am still not sure of the 'purpose' yet but your interpretation seems nice IP: Logged |

Robert Hand, Planets in Composite Moon-Node Aspects Moon-node aspects in general signify the importance of soul-unions and emotionally based unions, either between the two of you or outside your relationship. They may also indicate that women outside the relationship are very important to its survival. Moon conjunct north node opposition south node.
This aspect signifies that this is a union based on feelings and that you both share a strong sense of soul-union. Also you may have strong emotional bonds with other people, particularly women, who in turn reinforce this relationship. Moon trine-sextile the nodes.
This aspect has very much the same meaning as the above, but it is not quite so strong in its effects. Moon square the nodes.
This aspect also indicates a very strong emotional union. However, here there is a strong danger that your extreme subjectivity will make it difficult to clearly understand this relationship. It may signify that you relate to each other almost entirely through your emotions, but not very harmoniously. Moon conjunct south node opposition north node.
