Hello everyone :-)

You guys know that I think of a new topic every other day, and this puzzled me today.

How many of you are slick at the mouth or can just be plain sassy?

I've always wondered what causes this.

I have to honestly say myself, that I am a sassy person and I always have a comeback for everything. I don't like people talking down on me so I tend to stand up for myself a lot.

Several people have told me before 'Wow, you have a slick mouth'.

I think these aspects in my chart point to that:

1. Me having a Capricorn Asc - Capricorn risings are usually cold and serious

2. Mercury opp Saturn - can make a person defensive in their speech.

3. My ASC Square my Sun - some say that this aspect makes people feel like you have an 'attitude problem' and some might get the wrong impression of you.

4. Sun, Moon, Mercury in Libra - Libra loves a nice debate civilized of course.

5. Mars in Leo - I have this one in the 7th house, some sources says that this would make a person quite argumentative.

How sassy are you guys? And what are your aspects or placements?

Uranus in Aquarius on the Ascendant.

Squares Moon in Scorpio.

Squares Saturn and Jupiter.

But...

Trines a Gemini Stellium.

Smart-butt mouth, but you have to laugh...

I've been called Miss Snarker for a reason.

Libra Sun-Pluto-BML; 3H Scorpio Moon-Merc-Ura, 0° Sag Mars.

I think it's my Scorpio Mercury's Aries Dwad, frankly. I can rival Debra Morgan on a bad day. Or, even a good day, honestly. My Libranness is there, but ... it's a bit split. On the one hand, I know exactly what the crowd calls for, being gracious with the best of them. Practically Victorian, finishing school, royalty-level etiquette here.

I can then flip into being right in line with any working comedienne.

So, go figure. It works for me.

Libracorn,

Your signature quote is a paraphrasing from Dr King's 'I've Been To The Mountaintop' from 1968. The original excerpt, I feel, holds more power:

'The nation is sick. Trouble is in the land. Confusion all around. That's a strange statement. But I know, somehow, that only when it is dark enough, can you see the stars.'

And - that ending bit of poetry is actually inspired by Og Mandino:

'I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness for it shows me the stars.'

I believe the above is a direct quote, but I've lost from where it originated. It's stayed with me, however.

I can be snide and snarky without any effort whatsoever. I dislike those qualities about myself, so I'm trying to move to higher ground on that one.

But yeah, if I feel that I've been thrown a passive-aggressive dig I'll often throw one back. Or if it's just not worth the bother I'll ignore it (generally online I ignore it, in real life I have a sharp tongue when irritated or offended).

If I've had just about as much as I can take of someone, I'll lay it out point-blank, and I'm concise but b*tchy when that happens. I'm verbally slicing when I'm p*ssed, and I can see people's weak points fairly easily. So I often hold back quite a bit if I'm actually going to call someone out, because I may really hurt someone and think better of it later.

True BML conjunct Sun, Sun conjunct Pholus in 8th.
Sun and Mean BML trine Uranus (Scorpio, conjunct IC).

Mercury aspects
Aquarius 6H, conjunct DC
Trine Pluto 3H
Sextile Neptune 5H
Opp AC
Conjunct Part of Fortune

Pluto aspects
Libra 3H
Opposite Venus
Square Saturn

Virgo Moon.

But...if you're nice to me, there's a 99 percent chance that none of that type of thing will ever be directed at you. I also don't have to *try* to be nice to people if they treat me with respect and decency (and don't otherwise really test my patience).

Ha, I think the same of you!

I generally tend to be pretty laid back, but I have my moments (and there are always people in our lives who just try our patience, ha).
I don't like it when people get competitive and b*tchy with me, so I tend to return it in kind.
But I really am trying to move away from that type of negative behavior and take a higher road when people act that way. It's...icky, hahaha.
I've recently started just politely asking people what they mean when they get passive-aggressive with me, or ignoring it if possible. It's been a difficult project, but I'm getting better at it.

My Pluto opp Venus can create problems for me as well. Working on that one too. We're all a work in progress, right?

^Mars in the 3rd House as well but in Scorpio with a Mercury in Libra in the 3rd House.
Yeah, I sure as hell stand up for myself. And others too if that sense of fairness in my book is being broken.
But before when I was younger, I don't think I used to much.

Sun, Mercury, Pluto is Libra on the Scorpio cusp. (Venus & Saturn is also Libra, can't recall how close to the cusp they are offhand.) I have a Scorpio Jupiter and some asteroids that add to the Scorpio energies.

On top of that I've got Moon, Mars, Uranus, and Neptune (plus at least Eros) in 5H Sag which can make me more frank than some people appreciate. I think it's the Sag energy that adds an element of silliness to it.

When I was younger I had less impulse control and could express biting sarcasm at times (not as bad as my Scorpio mom but shocked adults when I talked to them that way typically confronting their "do as I say not as I do" hypocrisy and got smacked over it more than once) or extreme standing up for myself but usually it was more good natured teasing or silliness (probably because the latter was just having some fun while the former I generally avoided when I could and explains why most of the former was against adults rather than other kids because I often wasn't allowed to walk away from adults). As just one example of the latter I was asked if I really worshiped Satan as the local rumors claimed and I told the boy, "Yes, and I cast spells, so shut up." He did, turning away from me like he was scared.

I'm like Violets, with many of the same placements. 3H Pluto trine 6H Aquarius Mercury, also trine 11H Gemini Mars. Mercury square Uranus, opposing Saturn, sextile and parallel to Venus.

9H Aries Jupiter sextile Mars exact, both tightly aspecting my Cap sun (less than ten minutes orb.)

I'm not confrontational. I'm not looking for arguments, but once I get into them, my focus gets very sharp, and everything I say is meant to be as high-impact as possible. Depending on the situation, I might start thinking of the conversation like a chess match. I don't like fighting, so when I do it, I aim to resolve the issue definitively. Usually, though, I only argue with someone because I see them bullying someone else, and I want to take them down a notch.

For the most part, I come across as agreeable and even accommodating to a fault (Rabbit, Pisces moon) so it might amaze people when I switch gears and show my mega-b*tch side. Or even when my voice tone changes from sweet to 3H Pluto "I mean business and won't back down."

Generally speaking though, I think you can accomplish more with positive communication than negative.

I'd say mercury conjunct pluto in scorp. Subtle but biting sarcasm. Witty.

I'm very narcissistic and spoiled, so that has also made me very sassy. I'm also very flamboyant in general, and manipulative.

Here's my fabulous natal chart! ^__^
