Which aspect shows some sort of protection in your natal chart? The reason I ask is I was nearly in a t-bone accident tonight :P

Not sure of the veracity of this, but I have heard (read?) that Jupiter in the 12th can have that effect!

Sun -> Aries
Moon -> Sagittarius
Ascendant -> Virgo

Yeesh, thank goodness I do. I apparently need it!

Heh, fond of you too Ellynlvx! Definitely not planning on going anywhere! Sorry if I drove you crazy with that chart composite. He drives me nuts :P

I always thought 12th house planets were bad

Funny enough, both my cats sat beside me right after the near accident when I arrived home.

Could Jupiter in 8th also have this effect?

Hmm I didn't even read this before responding to the jupiter in 12th transit thread lol.. But you have jupiter in 12th natally?

Have you had other intense experiences like this before where you felt "protected"?

Also glad you're okay

I do have it natally. Yes, I have had other events where I could have been badly hurt but wasn't.

Thanks about being ok.

That is so cool, my cats laid on me and did not want to be moved when I came back from the hospital after my wreck

Literally, they would not let me move

Even Scorpio, and Ceres....requires a boost at times

No problem And very interesting! My theory is you probably have a lot less fear than most people because you've been put in these situations and still made it through without being badly harmed...

Also interesting about the cats... I'm assuming things like that have happened in the past too? When Jupiter was transiting my 12th I had some undeniable psychic/weird experiences lol

I don't know if I have less fear, I was pretty shaken up/scared tonight.

I definitely have had weird experiences

Yeah sorry idk what I'm trying to say but I guess just speaking from my own transit experience going through something like that and realizing not everyone is so lucky can really put things in perspective... Which is why I have a love-hate relationship with Jupiter lol

Heh, its okay and I totally agree with you about the love/hate aspect to Jupiter. It seems most aspects/planets have a double edge sword to them. Or at least that's what I've noticed in my very early journey into astrology

I have Jupiter in the 1st and Neptune conjunct my MC.

I don't know if it's those placements but I have been protected from other people/situations often. I will have this gut feeling arise when I'm doing something simple, like walking through a park and then the darkness in front of me seems to pulse, as if there's life further in. I'll have the overwhelming feeling of a person saying to me "Turn around and go a different direction."

I've had this since I was a child and I've been, from my friend's/family's point of view, irrationally wary about certain people and situations because of it. IE: When I'm walking with someone and it happens, I have to basically force them to go along with what my instinct is telling me.

Wow, that sounds amazing. You're really lucky to have that protection. I can't say I've felt that sort of warning.

I agree that I'm definitely lucky for it. Jupiter in the 1st, oh you sweet planet.

I've disobeyed it a couple times and bad things happen.

I'm so happy that you're safe!

Thanks MsPrism

For me, its been situations where I fell (while rockclimbing) from a high cliff and literally landed square on my feet unhurt. The crazy thing is the ground was rugged but I didn't even twist an ankle. Another situation was not stepping out to cross the road (when I had the green light) and having a car zoom past me. I didn't even see it turning!

Landing square on your feet, that's awesome!

I've never been very damaged. The worst I've had was falling with all of my weight onto the top of my middle finger. I love balancing and I was walking on these pointed fence posts when I slipped off one of the points. My finger turned blue and purple immediately but I hate being unable to move so I just took the tip of my finger, painfully wrenched it back and forth to check it's health. It was merely bruised, not broken.

Once I also fell about four feet down, expertly and completely on purpose, swan dived to land elegantly on my forehead between a pole and the ground. I got a great big goose egg but it didn't hurt. I went to the office, unsure of the protocol and when the lady saw me she looked horrified.

Your rock climbing tale reminds me of a story a friend of a friend told me. He said he was drinking with some buddies and they happened to be walking on a rooftop. When they reached the edge of the roof, since they were so focused on the conversation and obviously drunk, he took a step off the side.

Now, he said that he saw that he was stepping off the roof and he thought "Well, this is not going to be good." but because he was drunk, he just somehow tumbled all the way down the side of the building, rolled all the way up to his feet and kept on walking. Not even missing a stride.

Hahaha! Our bodies are a wonderland.

Wow, glad to hear you weren't badly hurt in any of those situations. I'm a wimp so I doubt I'd be able to just fix my finger like that. I've never really been badly hurt either. *knocks on wood* (my head)

Love how your friend thought 'well, this isn't going to be good' when falling off the roof. lol!

I think whoever is protecting us may be working overtime with us!
