Topic: Sometimes I feel and act like I'm Libra Rising

I was born with a Scorpio ASC. I have all Scorpio traits and appearance. But there times when everytime I see my dimples in the mirror I think I am a Libra rising.
I also have this urge (?) to act graceful (and I am not), act with manners (like a lady) and of course only SOMETIMES to be into a relationship (to name a few Libra traits).
Now. I can't stand Libra Suns (with a few exceptions) and I have 0 planets in Libra ( I am an air void). The only thing I have in Libra is my SN. Also in Vedic astrology I am a Libra riser.
But lets stick to Western. My dilema is: If I know I am a Scorpio riser and of course act like one why this thing with Libra? I simply don't understand. I am not like this. I think one of my worst flaws is the lack of tact which Libra people HAVE.IP: Logged |

You definitely don't give off that vibe here. You seem very Scorpio like to me. There are many other signs that have dimples, Cancer included. You're waaaay to negative and just too aggressive to be one. I'm one myself as well as a ton of other people here and you don't act like any of them. IP: Logged |

This happens to me as well. I'm scorpio rising as you. I think this could be because libra in is 12 house, and you have that unconcious "memorie"of what libra is.
I read somewhere that, a scorpio rising, always is going to stay remembering that "perfection" of libra, this is because this ascendant is one of the most dificult, because you have to abandonate that libra feeling and get in to the profound relationship and get into the scorpio darkness, and this can happen, or not happen. I say, this is because it is one of the most difficult ascendants. Remember scorpio is a fixed sign, we are difficult, you need changes but you resist at the same time.

Thanks. When I learned that I have Scorpio ASC ( I was 19 then) I had only the looks. As I was growing older I started also to have attitude. I know that I must abandon the Libra traits of my SN and become more like my Aries NN but still...its hard. And amazes me to see I have the Libra traits with no Libra planets or influence in my chart. IP: Logged |

This is sort of 12th house stuff really since Libra is your 12th, even though it's SN and not a planet.
I have three 12th planets. Just my opinion but I think one of the keys is to learn to accept it, not understand it.
In accepting it, you then may be able to actually understand it.
It's worked for me and there's always more to work on. If you feel like "acting" Libra sometimes. Do it... enjoy it.  It can be a strength for you! IP: Logged |

I never thought about this one until now but the ruler of my ASC is Pluto in 12th house (where Libra is on cusp). Until now I thought being the actual house of Pisces it will make me more like a Pisces (emotional, into charity and stuff) but now... Goodnight for now. Early start tomorrow. I have an ultrasound to do. (I have some problems in the "Scorpio" area). Wish me luck.

Nah, we just come across as super sensitive. No matter how hard I tried, everyone used to think I was so emotional and a whiner.
My videos tell a different story. It's unfortunate, but oh well. I like being a Libra Rising.
I also have Pluto on the asc so I get a little of that energy from time to time. I wouldn't sweat it. Just be yourself and love it.

True true and true I know some libra rising MCs Rosalind - I'm in the same boat. Scorpio rising with libra on 12th cusp and Pluto Scorpio in 12th I don't think I'm ever another ascendant. Sometimes I think it'd be cuter if I could say I was another rising - specifically libra because it's the closest - because all the grief our rising gets... But it's not me. I can see through people's ******** , I have a presence that can be very beneficial to others when it's positive because the intensity and i don't come across as fake I think the problem is the reputation Scorpio risings get. Mmm, I sometimes feel similarly. I have a (late) Virgo Rising, though...I actually would have been a Libra rising if I were born even five minutes later. I can't say that I necessary wish that I had this rising sign, but I read a lot of descriptions of Libra and much of it fits me as well or better than Virgo. Especially the people-pleasing and approach to conflict.That said, I know that I am definitely not a Libra riser. I fly under the radar way too often, I lack that overall general aesthetic, and while many would call me graceful or poised, just as many would say that I am critical or judgmental. I think these feelings have a lot more to do with the fact that most of my houses (bar the angles) are what they would be with a Libra rising, and also I'm ultimately willing to bet that this has a lot to do with my Sun being in the 7th House. ------------------

I am a Libra rising--12 degrees. I feel very much like I like to have win/win situations. It is very ingrained in me.I don't want to get the better of people. I want both people to feel they have won. If I have a problem with a person in a store or something like that, I will say that we should split the difference.
I think this is a classic inner attitude of a Libra rising.
