I have that with someone now. I have Mars Virgo conj Asc and he has Mars Pisces conj Dsc. I am independent and he is codependent. If that makes sense. IP: Logged |

I have Sag Mars opposite Gemini Mars with a guy in our synastry. I can honestly say it was the sexiest, most romanitc, intriguing, stimulating (i really could go on forever with the adjectives) relationship I've ever been in.It's a 3 degree orb, and while we have a multitude of other aspects between us, I know that this opposition is what makes things always interesting..Sometimes it's combative/competitive conversation and actions, but nothing is ever meant to harm the other. eta: I forgot to say that this person was and is the most intensely attractive person I've ever met. His personality, looks, background, future.. All of it was wonderful to me as I learned it. IP: Logged |

This aspect could be found by progression in the Ritzer/Chism case. 3 Scorpio oppose 3 Taurus.IP: Logged |

I find there to be something...unnerving with this aspect but I can't exactly put my finger on it...it activates my red flag alert but then it calms down-activates-calms down. But there is something brewing under surface. I recall one night I was walking with him through the night and his presence next to mine, in the dark, scared me but I still to this day don't know why. It was the oddest feeling and I can't shake it. IP: Logged |

I really cannot stand this aspect, unless there's a lot of really harmonious aspects elsewhere. It causes a lot of conflicts, arguments, and outright yelling matches from my experience. I already have 3H Pluto opposite 9H Venus in my chart, so I don't need more fuel to that fire, lol. <Edit> Now that I'm looking more closely, I think it's the hard Mars/Pluto type aspects that I can't stand, but Mars opposite Mars doesn't sound much better to me. I've had Mars square Venus in synastry before, and it always turned out dreadfully, with a lot of fighting. IP: Logged |

Yes we fought, but not very often. The kicker though, is that when we do (yes, still do even not dating) the fights are always over something we feel very passionate about. Usually something to do with our current relationship. It's a weird friendship that neither one of us can really let go of even though we can't have it. And it's really the only thing we've ever fought about. We've literally been toe to toe screaming in each others faces. And it doesn't matter where it is. The last time was in an establishment full of people. Embarrassment? Nah. Not even with every person in the place looking at us. Sometimes there is a thing as too much passion. But at the same time, I can't say that any of those fights have ever ended badly. Usually with me reminding him that we are what we are because of his choices and him apologizing because he knows I'm right. But somehow, even though we know the outcome and know that it won't last, we still fight about it and those fights are probably a bit scary to those near. As for every day general stuff, though, no we don't really fight. We've got at least 10 different grand trine combinations (A Venus/Venus/Moon one included ) in synastry. I'm guessing that Mars opp Mars can't really compete with that much easy going energy. IP: Logged |

It's been a long time, so I had to look it up in the ephemeris. His Venus was in Cancer, opposite my Mars. He had Mars in Aries, but it was conjunct my Venus and opposite my Pluto. Pluto and Mars hard aspects can definitely throw a wrench into the works. IP: Logged |

I had it. Early Aries Mars (her) Late Virgo Mars (Me) We had Venus Conjunct and some other things a little more positive. But my Leo Sun would fire up to compete with her Mars. LOL Mars opposite definitely was felt though. I don't know how to explain it. When it came to Mars things (sex/aggression/drive etc). There was definite appreciation and.... something new and exciting. At the same time, it was like living in someone else's house. You just wanted to go back home. It's neat to visit but you just can't actually LIVE with the way that you each do things. Like, "Oh that's an interesting way of doing things. But I think I'll stick with how I do it." IP: Logged |

only experienced it twice, and both were platonic relationships. The first, I still think she's just sensational and absolutely gorgeous and magnetic but her moon is also conjunct my mars and opposite her own natal mars. We getting to be closer friends as already. The second...I think she's intriguing, but we just don't vibe well even though we have a million mutual close friends. Her mars is not only opposite to mine but her venus is also opposite my venus and if her sun sign was in Virgo instead of just Libra-Virgo cusp - our sun/moons would be inverted as well with her being virgo/aqua and me being aqua/virgo.Who knows, maybe we'll become best friends but at the moment she just irritates me. *shrug* IP: Logged |
