I'm the mars person and the other person is neptune. I have read that this aspect causes suspicions to arise... Like if one person will not trust the other person even if they are being honest. Who is the one not trusted? Mars or Neptune? How does this aspect play out?

I was mars, he was Neptune, in the end he proved unreliable. I wanted to do things but he broke the promises of those activities and promised nice things that didn't happen.

But if you were mars, doesn't that mean you have this aspect with pretty much every one in your age group? Or do I have that wrong?

I have Mars Square Neptune with someone. As far as I know there aren't any feelings of suspicion.

Mars opposite my neptune
Neptune square my mars.

Mars-neptune is rather hot actually.

we both have these aspects in our natal chart so maybe that's why its not unnerving or whatever
