I have irrational fear of death too. Guess what? 8th house is empty. 12th house must be checked because FEAR comes from the unconscious. I have Pluto in 12th house. Pluto is the planet of death. Here's a reason for the irrational fear of death.IP: Logged |

Oh wow you have that too? I have twelfth house planets as well as eighth house moon opp Neptune. I didn't think about them until Roslind mentioned Pluto in twelve. I have the same. IP: Logged |

I also have this notion of ''We are all gonna die'' I have the Moon in the 8th house as well. Now, let's not say it's irrational. But it is a very double edged sword kind of thing, you live life to the fullest or try to, but it's never truly out of your own want. It's driven by fear, very Scorpio in nature. Now, you can let this control you or try to accept it. This stuff only bothers us when we are unhappy or we feel like we have more things to do in life. IP: Logged |

I get phobic about it though. It's the nature of having the moon in the eighth and being opposite Neptune, there can be phobias. I try not to think about it too much, distract myself. I've always been curious about what happens to consciousness after we die. Do we go on and have another one or is it just nothing? That's why I get phobic so I try not to think about it too often.

Ah I don't really fear that type of thing. What I fear is dying without making an impact or doing what I want. The way I figure it, there's no reason to be fearing this unless we are unhappy and hope we don't die soon in this current situation.IP: Logged |

Yep true time is short and the most precious resource so use it the best way you can. Btw, Death Valley is soooo cool. I have seen pics on Trip Advisor and everyone always gives it good reviews. It must be awesome living there! Lucky!

I try not to let it control me. I see it as a bit irrational because whenever I can't get ahold of someone I automatically assume the worst. Death or major injury. Also 90% of my dreams are either me dieing, my loved ones dieing, or me killing someone. Drives me crazy!

I have a dignified moon, too, it's in Taurus. I also have a twelfth house Jupiter and Pluto lol. The problem is, these houses are psychological and emotional, so it's easy to over think everything, including death, and feel anxious. Also, Pluto is the planet of obsession and obsessing on death can cause anxiety. IP: Logged |

Saturn in Pisces can be fearful. Right at the Nadir, it's at the Heart of your Being, and Opposite Mercury might be a part of this. That Domicile Moon really is RIGHT on the Eighth Cusp, too. Opposite Uranus AND Neptune. IP: Logged |

Three planets in 12 with aspects to moon in 9th and aspects to Jupiter in 8th. Let me see how to explain this. I fear death in the sense that I don't want to miss tomorrow. I look forward to it. I don't fear death itself. For example, it's been some years but I was being a dumb@ss and spun my car a little bit at 70mph on a 30mph turn. I just focused on bringing back under control. I didn't have that kind of panic and if I crashed... well I would want to be killed or walk away. I don't want to be crippled. I fear that more than death. IP: Logged |

Isn't 8th house supposed to be the, NOT fearing of death type? The type which is actually intersted in subjects like death. (Not practising it of course).I have sun, saturn, mars, mercury in 8th, and I'm not intimidated by death at all. Nor do I think about it much. IP: Logged |

Obviously NOT. 4th house is the house of the soul. Here lies both what is conscious and subconscious.Both. 8th house is the house of CONSCIOUS. Here we deal with death in a concious way. 12th house is the house of subconscious. This is the house where everything that we don't see but lies within us exists. Fears, dreams, hidden feelings within us. Things we CAN'T control. IP: Logged |

I am interested in it to a certain extent but I also fear it so it would be a pretty unhealthy thing for me to "practice". Leads to overthinking, anxiety, panic, etc. Honestly just talking about it stresses me out. Moon seems a bit more sensitive to the 8th than the planets in your stellium as it does rule emotions and as Rosalind said 8th is conciousness. Therefore I have both concious AND unconcious with my 12th house planets to deal with.
