I always think you have really insightful threads.. so just curious, what are your thoughts/predictions? I can't speak for moon conjunct Neptune, but I do have Sun conjunct Neptune and think you're probably on to something with the whole gender issue

Thanks FireMoon!

I think the men who have Moon conjunct Neptune (depending on their Sun sign) struggle with some kind of drinking problem, and have a tendency to feel sorry for others a lot. I don't think they have the healing capability (I mean it's not as strong) women do, since women are more used to nurturing. I know women with this placement and they actually avoid drinking because they don't like how it makes them feel. But the women I know with this placement are also water signs so perhaps they're more comfortable with it. I don't know any fire sign women with Moon conjunct Neptune… yet.

You know me! Oh well.. virtually, anyway. I have the conjunction exact, at 29 Sag.

I do avoid drinking for the most part. There are a few reasons, mostly because I want to be in full control of my cognitive functions. There are some exceptions to this rule, in social circumstances because I am usually rigid and on defense when it comes to new people or social interaction, in general. It drains me. I absorb negative emotions very easily, which is why I could never work in an oncology service. I have learned to detach but sometimes minor things can change my mood. Songs, for instance. I love me a sad song now and then, but 2 minutes into it I would get teary-eyed. I also cry at movies like a maniac. I consider myself an empath but I also have boundaries, sometimes I am able to simply switch from feeling by not getting involved. Also, because of all my fire, when I usually do get involved, it is without reserves. All in, whether it's a project, an idea or a relationship.

i dont handle it very well & it causes me a lot of problems esp in romance. either because is in sag or is opp jupiter or maybe its this aspect, i hinge love to a belief narrative and experience it as very engulfing.

but i think either sex can probably handle better if can experience that in art which is why i love having it.

i feel pain when others do which makes me an empath of sorts.

hate practical matters, real life, struggle with that which may be more expected of men. anything like that i even insert into some narrative and thats something i inherited from my mum in this aspect maybe altho she is very practical.

susceptible to drinking but i feel mostly to stop thinking which doesnt work. the first i drank in a coping manner though was because i couldnt handle feeling pain via anothers experiencing of pain.

moon conj neptune in sag, 2nd

I experience many of the same things written here by others here with moon conjunct Neptune. I have it in Scorpio conjunct my IC. I often think of it as the bane of my existence. I've had to learn to establish boundaries because I feel everyone's mood and avoid or limit my time with toxic people. I love being a mom and that has triggered my acceptance of my nurturing qualities.

As a five planet Virgo, I really love to be practical and organized. When hard times hit, I get through but it is never without pain. This is that moon conjunct Neptune that wants insulation between the self and the consequences of daily life. The rational self can accept that people are rude or unhelpful but moon conjunct Neptune hurts because of it.

I love family dinners and we always serve good wine!
