Well yeah leo can be reeeally pridefull, but i also know allot of other people who dosen't have a single leo placement which trumps any leo ive ever met in that area, me and my brother both have mars conjunct asc both are geminis, i have allot of taurus and he's got allot of sagg, if we fight we don't talk to eachother in forever and none of us says sorry or changes his mind, my other brother which is a leo with a cancer moon gets really emotional and then later he acs like nothing happened, but he NEEDS attention like normal people needs air so i can still see allot of leo in him.IP: Logged |

yeah i guess it's how you define pride. i am proud. but i don't usually hold many grudges. i think taurus mars hold grudges. i take pride in my work and anything that has my name on it.
taurus is proud, too. but it's a different kind of pride.

I am Leo rising, with Jupiter and Pluto in Leo too and I am told that I have self-worth issues. I am never satisfied with my work and always feel I could have done better. I suppose, in a convoluted way, that could signify pride. Basically, I set myself high standards and am very self-critical. I am also too British (or like the British) to blow my own trumpet. It is rightly said that the British are masters of understatement. So, if you put these factors together, the proud Leo demeanour doesn't stand a chance.  Btw, is 'prideful' a word? IP: Logged |

I think the fact that you mentioned being "too British", and the statement that follows is saying something...esp. considering the history the British have... Anyway, I'd say Aries is up there, some Leo placements, and certain Mars placements...And perhaps lots of placements in the 1st and 5th (esp. the Sun, Mercury and/or Mars)? Jupiter conj. Sun? but out of experience, Apollonas in Libra is a prideful SOB
no offence to the Librs out there ^_^'
and I think Scorpius might have something to do with it------------------
